The House of Blues
You would think I run a fucking halfway house, or a fucking institution with the shit that goes on here. Well I don't. I own part of The House of Blues, the old concert hall that is used now for rock concerts, punk shows, etc.... Run down, a little bit up, old. But a lot of people love her. We get mostly smaller bands, but once in a while some of the greats will come play for us. I love this place with all my heart. Along with Charlie, Abby, and Luke, my partners. We put everything we had, along with a lot of borrowed money, into her after the the original owners had to sell her. The House of Blues was originally a fancy concert hall that never quite made it. In the 1950's the former owners bought her and turned her into a local Jazz club. Business started dying and they were foreced to sell her, to us. We bought her and turned her around. We all agreed to keep the name along with the history of the place alive.
Anyway, that is the basic history of the House of Blues. I thought it was important to explain a little about her before I said anymore. Back to my original place about all the shit that happins here. In the past 4 years of owning this place I've seen some amazing, horrible, wonderful things happen. The craziest among our group of friends. I'll start from the begining. After a late night of drinking and smoking with Charlie, Abby, and Luke, we all decided to get some food at Micky's Diner off 5th. We all walked in, and for some reason I decided to grab a paper. I never read the paper. I never read for that matter. We all sat down, ordered coffee, and I started flipping through the paper.
"What the fuck is that? Since when did you become all smart and shit?" Charlie asked.
"Shut up! Let her read. You know Robyn has always been the smart one." Luke told him, kicking him under the table.
"Hey! What about me?" Abby asked. Charlie started hitting the table and laughing histaricly. I wasn't paying attention, but I could feel the dirty look Abby was giving him. Charlie was originally from England. He moved here when he was a kid with his dad, and still had a faint accent. We all loved it, and none of us could ever stay mad at him. Before I knew it Abby, Charlie, and Luke were all goofing off again as usual. I was flipping through the real estate section when I saw the add for The House of Blues.
"Hey guys! Look at this! Remember The House of Blues?? It is up for sale. Have you ever been in there?" I asked, pointing to the add.
"Once. They played some great Jazz. Kind of a dive though." Luke said.
"Yeah, man fuck that joint." Charlie added.
"HEY! Would you shut up? And what is with all the cursing lately. Fuck!" Abby said.
"Hey, shut it guys. We should buy this place!" I shouted. They all started laughing, like I made a joke or something. "Hey! I'm serious!!" I told them.
"Aw fuck. Like we have money! We're all 21 year old college rejects!" Charlie shouted.
"I'm serious! I bet we could get a loan, and fix the place up. Imagine what a great place to have concert gigs! This city only gets the top 40 crap. We could have a music scene for the people like us out here!" I told them, getting excited the more I thought about it.
"Whatever!" Abby said. Charlie got the crazy look in his eyes he always gets when he has an idea. "No! Robyn's right! That would be fuckin-a-mazing!" Charlie said. For once his crazy side was helping me out.

"Go for it, but I want no part of it!" Abby said. "Is someone going to take our fucking order?!" She shouted.
"What's with you?" Charlie asked her. She gave him an evil look.
"It's all those meds she takes." Luke said as he lit up a cigarette.
"They help me, okay?" She said.
"Help you stay up all hours of the night?" Luke asked.
Abby got up and stormed to the bathroom.
"Luke, do you always have to bring that up?" I asked. "Now go after her and apologize. She's probably crying in there."
"It's the womens restroom!" Charlie said.
"I don't care." I said. I pushed Luke. "Now go after her."
"Why do you call them meds?" Charlie asked. "Speed is not meds."
"She seems to think so." Luke said.
I kicked him from under the table. "Shut the fuck up and go talk to her!" I shouted.
"Fuck!" He said holding his leg.

"Just fucking go, Luke." Charlie demanded. Luke reluctantly got up and walked to the back where the bathrooms were.
"Christ! Can't we have one day without this crap?" I asked Charlie.
"Naw,that takes the fun out of life." He said.
"Fun? Okay." I told him, shaking my head. "Hey, otherwise life wouldn't be worth living, now would it?" He asked me. "Yeah, I guess." I said, wanting to drop the subject.
"Okay, now about this little Rock place. Do you think we could do it?" He asked. "Yes. But it would help if Luke and Abby were on board." I told him. "Hmmm...You handle Luke, and I'll talke to Abby. Your smarter, Luke never takes me seriously." Charlie said.
"Are you serious? You are really in?" I asked, getting excited. "Hey, anything for you babe. Friends stick together!" He said lifting up his coffee mug as if it was full of beer. "You english men will toast will anything wont you?" I asked him.
"Hey, watch it missy!" He said, grabbin my leg and tickling me. "STOP IT!" I yelled at him. He did it again and I jumped and hit my leg on the table. "OW!" I shouted, laughing. The waitress finally came over to take our order. We ordered for Luke and Abby. Abby never ate anyway, because of her 'meds'. Charlie always finished her food. The waitress left with our orders, and Luke and Abby came back right as she was leaving.
Abby looked pissed. "Cheer up, darlin." I told her smiling.
She leaned back in the seat. "As soon as this asshole leaves me alone." She said pointing at Luke.
Charlie put his arm around her and kissed her cheek. She laughed and pushed him away. "Lay off." She giggled.
"Oh, you know you want me!" He said. "Fat chance!" She said. "I said I was sorry." Luke told her. "I'm still mad." She said. "Oh stop Abby. He said he was sorry." I told her. She just rolled her eyes. The waitress brought out our food soon after. "I'm not hungry." Abby said after the lady left. "Your never hungry. I hear that is a side effect." Luke mumbled. "What?" Abby asked, getting irritated. "Nothing." Luke said. She just glared at him and pushed her plate away. "I'll take that, love." Charlie said, sliding her plate towards her.
We ate in silence ofr a few minutes. "You know, I think this Blues thing is a good idea." Charlie said. "I don't know. Sounds like it could turn out bad." Luke said with his mouth full. "Okay, first of all, ew! second of all, it could turn out to be the best thing we've ever done." I told him. "Oh come on! This could be great!" I told them. "Where did all this ambition come from anyway?" Abby asked me. "Fuck you! This is could be awsome." I told her. "I don't know. If Luke is going to be lame about it, I'm in." Abby said. I think she was doing it just to make me happy, not really expecting me to follow through with the idea. "HEY! Lame my ass! I'm in too!" Luke said. "Well, that was fucking easier then I thought!" Charlie said, and reached up to give me a high five.
We payed our bill and left. We all lived in the same complex. Abby and I in a small one bedroom, and Luke and Charlie in a studio across the court yard from us. Abby went to the guys apartment, but I ran home to start looking up banks a to call the real estate agent.
I pulled out the phone book and wrote down some numbers. I set it down on the coffee table and got a glass of water. There was a knock on the door. I walked over to it and peaked through the hole. It was Chase, my on again off again boyfriend since high school. The last time we broke up was a month ago when he stood me up, because he chose to get high with his friends instead of take me to the movies. I opened the door. "May I help you?" I asked. He picked me up and spun me in a circle. He started kissing my neck. I pulled away. "What do you want?" I asked.
"The question is who." He said.
"You're lame." I said.
He smiled. "But you love it."
"I'm busy right now." I said sitting down on the couch.
He sat down next to me and picked up the list of numbers. "What's this?" He asked.
I explained my idea to him. "You know, Kado could probably hook you up with a loan." He said.
Kado was Chase's twenty five year old Uncle. He looked like a greaser stuck in the fifties, but I always found him very attractive! "I didn't think of that!" I said. I gave him a hug. "You're briliant!"
"Do I get a reward for being briliant?" He asked winking.
"After you call Kado." I said picking up the phone.
"Always after! You are too smart." He said. "No flattery, just call already!" I told him. He dialed the number.
"KADO!" he shouted into the phone. I could hear his part of the conversation, so I got up and washed some dishes that were in the sink. When I was done I dried my hands. Our apartment was small, so you could see the livingroom from there. "Well?" I asked him. "He says you should swing by bank. He can hook you up if you agree to go to lunch with him." He told me. "Oh geeze!" I said, rolling my eyes. "Hey, it's just lunch! Go for it. He'll give you paper work for you and your buds to sign." He told me. "Lunch it is." I said. "Okay, I'll call him and let him know." He said. "How about I call him later, and right now we see about your reward?" I asked. I'm not sure if I was more excited about seeing Chase, or the loan.
"Bedroom?" He asked.
"Yes!" I said excited.
"Wow." He said.
I laughed. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly. "You're the best!" I shouted.
"I know!" I yelled back. He picked me up and ran to the bedroom. He threw me onto the bed.
"Gentle, mister!" I said laughing.
"Are we back together again?" He asked.
"I'm starting to wonder if we will actually ever be OFF." I said.
"Have you ever stopped loving me?" He asked.
"No." I said smiling. "You just drive me up the wall sometimes."

"Thats what I do best!" He shouted. "No it isn't!" I told him. "What?" He asked. "You do this way better." I told him, and he gave me a funny look. I pulled my shirt off, and started undoing my pants. "Oh, you mean THAT!" He said laughing.
"Robyn!" I heard Abby shout as she walked in the door.
"Give me a minute!" I yelled back to her.
I got up and put my shirt on.
"Hey." He said.
"Just give me a minute." I said. I walked out to Abby.
"What's up?" I asked her.
She looked down at my pants, then back up at me. "Hi Chase!" She shouted. "Whats up!" He shouted back. "Abby!" I scolder her. "What, he's the only one you ever undo your pants for." She said. "Damn it!" I told her, and buttoned my pants back up. She just laughed. "What is it, I was in the middle of something." I told her. "Okay, okay! I was just going to say that Luke is a jerk, and I need to borrow 20 bucks." she said. "He is not, and No." I told her, turning back towards the bedroom. "Ahem. Please?" She asked. "No." I told her again. She looked mad. "What do you need it for?" I asked her. "Um...I .." She couldn't think of what to say. "Exactly. I believe my point here is made. No money for drugs. Besides rent is do when we get paid on Friday. Keep that in mind!" I told her. "What point?" She asked, getting defensive. "Oh come on! We all know it's speed Abby. We all hate it, but there is no convicing you that is it horrible." I told her. "Fine, don't give me the 20." She said. She started to calm down again. "Go have fun with Chase." She said, smiling. "Okay. Thank you! Oh, and his uncle Kado can get us a loan." I told her. "What? Are you actually serious about this?" She asked. "Yes. Charlie and I both. You two will come around once you see it come together!" I told her. "Whatever. I'll see you later." She told me, and left. I walked back to the room and Chase was completely naked, laying on my bed. "Wow, you didn't finish without me, did you?" I asked. He started laughing. "Just get over here." He said, motioning his hand for me to walk over. I took my shirt and pants off, and climbed on top of him in my bra and panties. "Where were we?" I asked. "You were just admiring my strong manly muscles." He said, and I laughed. "Oh please!" I said. "Hey, come on now. At least admire my new tatoo." He said. "New!" I shouted exitedly. "Where?" He sat up and showed me his back. He had three Nautical stars on his back, right below his neck. "Very nice." I told him, winking. He laughed. "I knew you'd like em." He said.
"So, you don't talk to me for a month, then you come over with new tattoos?" I asked. "I think we need to break up more often."
He laughed. "I think we break up often enough."
"So when are you getting your tatoo?" He asked me. "Ahem. You know I don't need tatoos to express myself!" I told him. He just laughed. "No, you do that well enough. Now come closer." He said. I leaned down and kissed him. "Oh, I miss this." I whispered. "Me too." he said, kissing my neck. I slid the rest of my clothes off and there was a knock on the front door. "Damn it." He said. "Don't worry about it. Whoever it is will go away." I told him. We starting having sex, and then my bedroom door opened. "Whoa! Robyn's getting some action!" I head Chalie say right before he shut the door. "Damn it!" I shouted. "Hey, hey. Honest mistake, calm down." Chase whispered. "Better yet, don't. Your hot when you are angry." I started laughin. "Shut up!" I told him. We finished having sex and both got dressed right away. After I got dressed, I gave Chase a huge kiss, and then we both walked out to see what the hell was so important. "Ever heard of knocking?" I asked Charlie, who was looking through my fridge. "We don't do that where I'm from." He said. "What ever! You've been her since you were 10, that excuse is getting old!" I told him. He just grinned at me. "What do you want? And buy your own food!" I said, and shut the fridge door. He pulled his arm out just in time. "Oh, hi Chase. Sorry about that!" He said. "No problem." Chase told him. Charlie walked past me into the living room, giving Chase a high-five on the way. "Oh grow up Charlie. What do you want?" I asked again. "How'd loan stuff go?" He asked. Chase's uncle is getting us the loan." I told him. "Really? You mean we can really do this?" He asked, getting excited. "Yes. Was that all? You interupted me for that?" I asked him. "Hey, I wouldn't have if I'd have known what you were up to. Ah, who am I kidding, yes I would have!" He said. I opened the front door and pushed Charlie out, shutting the door in his face. "He drives me crazy sometimes!" I told Chase. "I HEARD THAT! CALL YOU LATER LOVE!" I heard him shout before he walked away. "AHHHHHH!" I screamed. Chase was just standing there laughing. "Shut up!" I said, hitting his arm.
Abby walked in and we both looked at her. "Abby, what the fuck! You look like hell!" I said concerned.
"Thanks." She said. She went to her room and shut the door.
I knocked on her door. "Where have you been?" I asked. I tried to open the door, but it was locked.
"Abby! Open the door!" I shouted as I jiggled the door handle.
She opened the door and poked her head out. "What?" She asked.
"Where were you?" I asked her.
"I went to see Dennis. What's the big deal?"
"Why did you go see Dennis?" I asked.
"Just dropped by to say hi. I didn't want to sit here and listen to you and Chase have sex." She said.
"So that's all you did?" I asked. "You just dropped in and said hi? You didn't purchase anything from him?"
She sighed. "Just leave me be."
"Abby, what did you buy?" I asked.
"I didn't buy anything." She said. She closed the door. "He gave me it for free!" She shouted through the door.
"Abby!" I yelled. I opened her door and she was snorting something. I wasn't familiar with much drugs, so I didn't know what it was.
"Abby!" I yelled again.
"GET OUT!" She screamed. She started crying. She jumped up and pushed me out of the room slamming her door.
"Oh shit." I said, walking back to the living room. "What is it?" Chase asked. "Abby just fucking snorted something!" I told him. "She was on something when she was here earlier, she better be careful." He said. "You can tell?" I asked him. "Yeah. You know my past better then anyone." He said. "Don't worry, I stopped it. Even pot." He said. "You did?" I asked him. "Yup!" he said. "I'm so proud of you!" I told him, giving him a hug. "Let me go talk to her, I'll see what she is on." He said. "Okay." I told him. He walked to our bedroom door and knocked. "Abby. It's Chase, babe. Whats up? Can I come talk to you for a minute?" He asked. She opened the door and let him in. "Oh, she lets him in." I muttered to myself. I just sat down on the couch and called the guys apartment. Charlie answered. "Hey hon, is Luke there?" I asked him. "Yeah, but you want to talk to me." he said. "Charlie, I don't feel like messing around, is he there?" I asked. "Yeah, he's on the toilet, what do you need?" He asked. "It's Abby. I'm worried about her." I told him. "Aw shit. Dennis again?" He asked. "Yeah." I told him. "Fuck, I could kill that jackass. She was already messed up!" He yelled. "I know! Can you guys come over?" I asked. "Yeah, right over love." He said and hung up. Chase walked out of the room. "She kicked me out before I could ask what she took, but it looks like it was just Meth. We'll hope thats all it was." He said. "She is going too far with shit!" I told him. "I know. You know sellers don't just give stuff away, don't you?" He asked. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "I forgot you never got into this crap. It means she either got the money from some where, or." He paused. "Or what?" I asked. "Or slept with him, or who knows what else." He said. "What?" I asked. "I don't think she would, but-I'm just saying, that is how it works. Lets just hope she borrowed the money from someone else." He said. "Yeah, lets hope." I sighed. He walked over and gave me a hug. Luke came walking into the apartment right then. "Where is she?" He asked. "In her room." I told him. "Abby!" He shouted, walking up to our bedroom door. We heard her turn up the music. "Luke tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Damn it!" He shouted. "Hey, dude. Just leave her alone for a while. You aren't going to make any sense to her right now." Chase said. "Fuck!" Luke said, kicking the door. He walked back and sat on the couch. "She is really starting to worry me." He said. "Me too." I told him. "Me three." Charlie said. Luke and I looked up at him. Charlie usually didn't care about anything. "Now what?" I asked. The three of us looked at Chase. He had the most experiance with this kind of thing. Luke's dad died of an overdose when he was little, so he stayed away from most stuff. Charlie just thought it was idiotic, unless it was weed. "We wait." Chase said. "We wait and try to talk to her. Maybe we'll get through, maybe not." He said. "Lets get out of here for a while. This kind of thing brings me down." Charlie suggested. "I'll stay." Luke said.
Abby opened the door and peaked out. "Lady, can I talk to you?" She asked me.
"Of course." I said softly. I walked into her room. She gave me a hug. "Don't worry about me, okay?" She said.
"I'm sorry. You know me though. I am always worrying about everybody." I said.
"And I love you for it, but I'm fine." She said. "I just felt like doing something fun."
"Abby."
"I know, I know." She said.
"What is it though? It looks like Cocaine or something." I said.
"It is." She said. "Don't tell the guys, okay?"
"Abby."
"Robyn." She said with a sad look on her face.
"If you promise me you won't mess with that stuff again." I said.
She rolled her eyes. "Promise." She said.
"How did you get it?" I asked. "You don't have the money for it."
"Dennis gave it to me." She said.
"He just gave it to you? For nothing in return?" I asked.
"What? You think I slept with him or something? Jesus! He just gave it to me! I swear!" She said.
"It just sounds weird to me that he would just give it to you." I said.
"Well, he did." She said. "Beleive me."
"Okay, I'm sorry. I beleive you." I said.
"You wanna go see a movie with me later?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said smiling. "We'll get a bite to eat afterwards and talk too."
"Sounds perfect." She said. "I'm going to lay down."
She layed down on the couch staring at the ceiling. I went out to the kitchen and got my glass of water. I put it on the nightstand next to the bed. "Here's some water if you get thirsty." I told her.
She just smiled at me. I went back out to the living room and shut the door.
"She is okay. Just tired." I told everyone. "Tired?" Chase asked. "Yeah." I told him. "I don't think it was Meth." He said. I looked at him. I caught his eye and shook my head. "What is it?" Luke asked him. "I don't know. Nevermind." He said. "Thank you." I mouthed to Chase. "Luke, come on man. It's fine here, lets go see Tom and his buds for a while." Charlie said. "Okay. Bye Robyn. Later Chase." Luke said, getting up. After they left Chase sat down on the couch with me. "Why didn't you tell them what she was on if you know?" He asked me. "I promised her I wouldn't. She said she was fine and we could talk later." I told him. "Cocaine?" He asked me. I sighed. "Yeah."
"I knew it. I'm always right." He said. "Your her friend, get her help while you can still get through to her." He said. "I'll try." I told him. "Remember Kurtis?" He asked me. "Yeah! He was so much fun." I told him. "Well, Kurtis is now short a few teeth and livingin an allway. He took it too far." Chase told me. That thought really shocked me. Kurtis was always really smart, and such a nice guy. "I'm not trying to scare you. Well, I am a little, but just be careful, okay?" He said. "Okay." I sighed. "I'm going to head out. I'll call my uncle to let him know you'll meet him for lunch tomorrow. I'll call you later with the details." He said. We both stood up, and he gave me a big hug. "Bye. Thanks for coming over." I told him. "Anytime. You know I can't stay away from you for long." He said, and kissed my forehead. I walked him to the door, said goodbye again, and then layed down on the couch to take a nap.
"He is so annoying!" Abby shouted. Apparently she had been listening to us talk. "He's such a fucking know it all!" She yelled.
"Yeah well that's Chase for ya!" I yelled. I heard her giggle and it made me laugh. I went back into the bedroom and layed down on the bed with her. "I'd rather just take a nap here." I told her.
"Tell Chase to butt out." She said. "And don't listen to his bullshit."
"Abby, I trust you. I know you wouldn't lie to me. I don't care what he says, cause I trust you." I told her.
"Well, thanks." She said.
She started giggling. "What?" I asked her. "Huh, nothing. It's just kicking in more." She said, and started laughing. "Good night!" She said, and rolled over. "Um, good night." I said, and turned the other way. I was pretty tired, so I fell asleep right away.
We woke up later to music blasting in the living room. I sighed wiping my eyes. Abby yawned. "Why are they always here?" She asked. "They have the nicer apartment."
"Who knows." I mumbled. I looked at the clock and it was almost eight.
"Wow we slept way too long." I said.
Abby looked at the clock. "Let's go bowling. Get some beer and pizza." She said smiling.
"Sounds great." I said. "Without the boys."
She nodded smiling. "Yeah. Good idea."
She sounded funny. It was making me laugh. "What?" She asked. "You sound funny!" I told her. She started laughing. "Oh, trust me, your voice sounds a lot funnier to me!" She said. We both got up. I changed and brushed my hair, then walked out with Abby. "Hey, sleepy heads." Charlie said. "Hey, your place is better. It's the PARTAY pad isn't it?" Abby asked. "Yeah, but yours is a little bigger." Charlie said.
"Uh, not really." I said.
"You guys want to hit the arcade?" Luke asked.
"No. We're going bowling." I said.
"But the arcade is more fun." Charles said. "You know, where I'm from-" He said started to say.
"Shut up." I said laughing.
"Aww, thats cold baby, cold!" He said. "Anyway, we are going. See you cats later." I said. "Bye! We'll lock the door when we leave." Luke said. Abby and I walked out to my car. "Alright! Ready to go!" I said. "You betcha!" Abby shouted, climbing in the car. We kept laughing all the way to the bowling alley.
When we parked, there were a couple hot guys standing by the car next to us. "Wow, look at him. He's hot!" Abby said. They all looked at us.
"Hun, the window is down." I whispered. We both started laughing really hard.
The started laughing. Abby and I got out. I was embarrased, but I don't think she cared one bit. The one she pointed out waved to get our attention. "You ladies whan bowl a game with us? Drinks on us." He said. "Hell yeah!" Abby shouted. "Abby!" I said. "What?" She asked. The two other guys looked at me. "Nothing." I said. We walked in with them. "I'm Chad by the way." Abbys hottie said. "Chad? you don't look like a Chad!" Abby said. "Oh really? Well, I agree." He said, and laughed. "I'm Abby, and this is Robyn." She said, shaking his hand. "This is Chester and Nelson." Chad pointed out to his friends. Abby and I both looked at each other. "Shut the fuck up Chad!" I'm not Chester. My name is Sam. Nice to meet you." Sam said, shaking my hand. "And I'm Jeremy." The other guy said. Abby and I started laughing.
The guys paid for us and got a lane. We sat down and put our shoes on. "You have got to be kidding me." Abby said looking up. I turned around. Charlie and Luke were walking into the bowling alley.
I sighed. "Are we ever going to get to hang out without them?!"
They walked up to us and sat down. The guys walked over with a couple bowling balls. Abby introduced them.
"You guys want to join us?" Chad asked them. Abby and I rolled our eyes.
"Sure!" Charlie said.
Abby sighed. "Oh sorry." Chad whispered. "No its okay." She said. "Charlie. Nice to meet you you guys." Charlie said. Holding out his hand. "Chad." Chad said, shaking Charlies hand. "I'm Luke." Luke said, waiving. "Jeremy, and this is Sam." Jeremy said. "Hey where are you from?" Sam asked Charlie. "Pittsburgh." Charlie said. "No, in England." Sam said. "London." He said. Charlie hated questions about where he was from, so he came over to Abby and I. "And who might these fine ladies be?" He asked. "Not happy to see you!" Abby said. "Aw, I'm hurt!" Charlie said. We just laughed and waite for the guys to put there shoes on.
Charlie left and came back with a pitcher of beer. "I ordered a couple pizza's too." He said as he set down the beer.
"You know us too well." I said.
He winked at me and smiled.
It looked like the other guys felt a little weird after Charlie and Luke showed up. That didn't stop Abby and Chad from shamelessly flirting with each other. "Okay, who is up first?" Jeremy asked. "I'll go first!" Charlie said. "You can put me down as Ace." He told Jeremy. "All right. Ace it is!" He said, and entered the name. "Okay, next?" He asked. "Me. You know my name." Sam said. "That I do friend, that I do." said Jeremy. He put in the name Killer for Sam. "Okay, third?" he asked. "I'll go third. You can put Superstar!" Abby said. Her and I started laughing. "I'll be next." Luke and Chad both said at the same time. Charlie and I both looked at each other and rolled our eyes. Abby gave Luke a dirty look. "Fine, I'll go after Chad." Luke said, not looking too happy. Jeremy entered the Terminator, for Chad's name. "What do you want for yours?" Jeremy asked Luke. "Just Luke. I don't need a fancy name." Luke said. "So, who is last, me or you?" Jeremy asked me. "You. I hate bowling last." I told him. "Okay, name?" He asked me.
"Alota Fagina." I said.
Everyone started laughing. Especially, Charlie and I. We are big Austin Powers fans. We watch the movies together a lot. Charlie got up and hugged me. We were laughing so hard. "That's fucking great." He said.
"You guys are so silly." Abby said.
"It's what we do best!" Charlie told her. Jeremy entered his name, Mr. Blonde. "I love that movie!" I shouted when I saw his name. "Yeah, me too!" Jeremy said. "Well, yeah, I figured!" I said, laughing. I walked over to pick a ball with Charlie. I found a bright pink one, and he grabbed a bright green ball. I bent over to pick mine up, and Charlie pinched my butt. "HEY!" I shouted, startiling a family next to me. "Sorry." I said, as Charlie laughed. We walked back and Charile, Ace, was up first.
"It's what we do best!" Charlie told her. Jeremy entered his name, Mr. Blonde. "I love that movie!" I shouted when I saw his name. "Yeah, me too!" Jeremy said. "Well, yeah, I figured!" I said, laughing. I walked over to pick a ball with Charlie. I found a bright pink one, and he grabbed a bright green ball. I bent over to pick mine up, and Charlie pinched my butt. "HEY!" I shouted, startiling a family next to me. "Sorry." I said, as Charlie laughed. We walked back and Charile, Ace, was up first.
"Go Ace!" I said laughing.
He turned around and winked at me. He shook his butt and bowled. It went straight to the gutter. He put his arms in the air. "Wooooo!" He said smiling.
He sat down next to me. "Beat that, baby!" He said.
"Oh I will." I said laughing.
I stood up and started dancing and shaking my butt. "Hey! I meant bowling, no one can top my dance moves!" He shouted. "Nice!" I heard Jeremy say. I realized Luke and Charlie weren't the only guys we were with, and I got embarassed. Sam came walking over with another pitcher of beer for everyone. "It's your turn Sammy-boy." Jeremy said.
He also got a gutter ball.
"Yeah!" Charlie said clapping.
"You are so loud." Abby said. "Would you hush?"
Charlie just looked at her, then back at me. We both laughed.
"Why don't you date Charlie?" She asked me quietly.
"Abby, no." I whispered.
She shrugged her shoulders. "Okay." She said.
I went to the bathroom and got some water. When I got back, it was my turn. "Come on Fagina!" Charlie shouted. "Woooo go Fagina!"
I laughed and picked up the bowling ball. "Grab the blue ball!" Charlie shouted. I started laughing so hard. I had to put my bowling ball down.
"No, I want the pink one!" I said, laughing. I looked up and Luke was watching Abby and Chad talk. I was wondering why he was being so protective of her. I just shrugged it off and bowled. I got a strike! I never got strikes! I started cheering and dancing. Charlie came running over, hugged me, and picked me up in the air. "And THAT is how it is done Love!" He shouted. "Go Fagina!" Abby shouted. I went back and sat down, letting Charlie poor him and I another beer. Luke wasn't drinking.
I walked over to Luke. I leaned down and put my arms around him.
"Why so glum, mister?" I asked him.
"I'm just tired." He said.
"You want a beer?" I asked him.
"No, but thanks." He said.
"Why are you keeping your eye on Abby so much?"
"These guys just seem like sleezbags." He said quietly.
"Oh be quiet. They're fine. We're all right here anyway." I said. I hugged him.
"I know. I just worry about her sometimes." he said. "That is because you are her friend. She is okay, enjoying herself, see?" I told him. "Yeah, I guess you are right. He hugged me, and let me pour him a beer. "Luke, it is your turn!" Abby shouted. "Okay, I have to stay ahead of everyone in this game though. Especially Chad." He said. I just laughed. "Go get a strike Lukester!" I shouted.
He picked up my pink ball.
"I think pink is your color." I told him. He laughed. Everyone watched him bowl and he got a strike.
Abby and I clapped.
"YOU ROCK!" I shouted.
"I know, I know." He said smiling.
"I'll be right back!" Abby shouted. She grabbed her purse and walked to the bathroom.
"I have to go too." I said, and walked after her. I kept giggling to myself the whole time. I wasn't paying attention, and walked into the first stall, without noticing someone was in there. The lock must have been broken. "Oh SORRY!" I said, about to shut the door. Then I noticed it was Abby. She was standing up and was doing a line of her compact mirror. "Abby! What are you doing?" I asked her. "Oh shit! Go away!" She shouted. "Where did you get that?" I asked. "Chad had some, no leave please!" She shouted. "Abby-" I started to say. "I'm okay, I promise. Just wanted to have some fun tonight. Chad is a blast. I'm fine, I promise, I was just coming down." She told me. "Okay." I said. I shut the door, and went to the bathroom in the next stall. When I came out she was waiting for me. After I washed my hands, she gave me a hug. "I'll start cutting back on this stuff, I promise." She told me. "Okay. I know you will." I told her. "Now lets go kick some ass!" She shouted. We both walked back to the guys laughing.
Luke kept staring at Abby and I. Abby bowled and then sat down on Chad's lap. She turned around and started making out with him. Luke stood up and I walked over to him.
"It's not worth it." I told him.
I sat on his lap facing him with my legs around him. I grabbed my purse to get some chapstick out of it. "She's crazy." He said.
"I know." I said smiling. I put some chapstick on and set my purse back down. Charlie walked over to us and put his arms around us. He squeezed us really hard. We started laughing. "How many beers have you had, man?" Luke asked him.
"Six! Woo!" He said loudly.
"You've always been a light weight." Luke said. I just laughed. "Hey, it is your turn Fagina." Jeremy said. "Okay." I told him. I was almost drunk, so I just grabbed a ball. I turned out to be Charlies. I bowled and got a gutter ball. "Damn it!" I shouted, making a pouty face. "Hey, nice try." Jeremy said, getting up to bowl. He smacked my butt as i walked by. "Hey, I don't know you that well." I told him. "What, babe?" He asked. "Excuse me?" I asked him. "What?" He asked. "Nothing, don't ever call me babe again." I told him. "Bitch." He muttered. "What did you say?" I asked. "Nothing. Just bowling." He said. I just let it go. I figured he was just mad because I wasn't acting like Abby. I just sat down next to Charlie. "You can play with my balls anytime." He said. I just laughed at him.

Jeremy got a gutter ball too. I clapped smiling. He just looked at me and then looked the other way.
Luke was staring at Jeremy. Charlie tapped him on the shoulder and he looked at us. "You wanna head out?" Charlie asked him.
He nodded.
"Alright, Abby. We're leaving. Let's go." I said standing up.
"We didn't finish the game." She wined.
"Come on, Abb." Charlie said.
"No, I'll get a ride home from Chad." She said.
"No you won't." Luke said.
"You got a problem with me, buddy?" Chad said standing up.
Charlie got up and got in Chad's face. All he had to do was look at him and it scared him. Chad sat back down. Charlie started laughing. "Asshole." Abby said to Charlie.
Charlie rolled his eyes. Abby stormed out of the bowling alley. We changed our shoes. I grabbed Abby's purse and shoes. Charlie put his arm around me and the three of us left.
"Come with me." Charlie told her as we approached her outside. Luke tossed his keys to Charlie and they got in the car.
Luke and I got in my car and headed back to our apartments.
"Those guys turned into real assholes." I said. "I know. I'm so glad she didn't go home with them." Luke said. "Me too. Thanks for driving." I said. "Anytime. Mind if I stay at your place tonight? I would really like to have a talk with Abby when she comes down." He said. "Yeah, of course." I told him. We got ther just after Charlie and Abby. They were up by the door to our appartment. We saw Abby take a swing at Charlie, and he easily ducked out of the way. "Damn it!" Luke said. We both ran over to them. "What is going on here?" Luke asked Abby. "She is mad because I won't let her drive off somewhere!" Charlie said, really pissed off. He stormed off towards the guys apartment. I followed him. "Charlie, calm down. It's okay." I told him, finally catching up to him. "No it aint! She has got to stop this!" He shouted, unlocking the door, and letting me in. He slammed the door shut. They had a small studio, and the bedroom was only seperated by a wall. They had two beds in there. The rest of the furniture was bean bag chairs, and giant pillows. I sat down on one of the beanbags. He walked to the fridge and grabbed two beers. When he came out, he handed me one, and sat down on the floor next to me.
"She's fine." I said. He leaned his head down next to me.
"Ah, she just gets on my nerves sometimes." He said.
"I know." I smiled.
He put his hand on my leg and sighed. "You're the only one who can keep that girl in check."
I just smiled. I knew that wasn't true! He got quiet and stared at the wall. "You okay?" I asked.
"It's been four months now since I've had sex." He said. "How sad is that?"
I laughed. "Aw poor Charlie."
"Fucking tell me about it! At least you've got Chase here and there." He said. I just laughed. "Yeah, still not sure if getting back together is the greatest idea!" I confessed. "Ahh. Yeah. He's not a bad guy. You guys just break up for the smallest things." Charlie said. "Yeah. I know." I said, laughing. "Here's to never understanding the opposite sex!" Charlie said, raising his beer. We clinked bottles and drank. "See, you english do have to drink to everything." I told him. "That's the Irish dear." He said. "Same thing!" I told him, joking. "Hey!" He said, pointing his finger at me and glaring. I started laughing. "You are a riot." I told him. "Yup, I know, I know. I'm the greatest." He said. "So when do you meet with whats his face about the loan?" Charlie asked. "I don't know. Chase didn't call. I'll call him tomorrow." I told Charlie. "Okay. I really do want to do this." He said. "Yeah, me too." I told him. "Heres to The House of Blues!" I said, holding my beer up. "Now who is toasting to everything?" Charlie asked. I just laughed. We toasted, and then chugged our beers. "More?" I asked him. "Please!" He said. I got up and grabbed us each two more. "Here you go!" I said. We both just sat and drank. About six beers later we looked at the clock. It was midnight. "I guess Luke is staying over there, 'watching' over Abby. He is so afraid for her." Charlie said. "I know." I sighed. "So, we are both pretty drunk at this point. What now?" He asked me. "Um, how about another beer." I suggested. "Man I Love you Love! I woman after my own heart!" He shouted. I just started laughing, and got up to get some more beer.
Luke walked into the apartment. He looked like a zombie. Charlie and I laughed. "What have you been doing?" Charlie asked him.
"Went to the bar." He said. "Abby made me leave. I'm really tired though, so I'm going to go to bed."
He layed down on his bed and fell asleep right away. Charlie and I grabbed our beers and went to the pool. "This doesn't mean you can be loud." I told him quietly.
"I know, I know." He said. He took off his shirt and shorts. He jumped in the pool. I just pulled my skirt up and put my feet in the water. Charlie walked over to me and stood between my legs. He grabbed his beer and rested it on my leg. "That's cold!" I said pushing his hand away. He laughed.
Het set his beer next to me and put his arms round my waist, resting his head on my chin. "If you pull me in, you are so dead!" i told him. "Oh, please love! have a little faith, would you?" He asked. I just laughed. "I know you better then to have faith in you Charlie." I told him. "Oh, well, in that case!" He said, and pulled me into the pool! "Charlie!" I said, coming back up for air. "What? Your the one with no faith." He said. I just kept laughing. I leaned backwards and started floating on my back. I closed my eyes and just floated there for a second. When I opened them Charlies face was right in front of mine. I got startled, and went under water. "You are a jerk!" I told him. I started swiming away from him, and he swam after me. "I am not. I'm just a very funny and amusing guy." He said. "You wish you were!" I told him, swimming over to the edge. I went to get out, but he pulled me back in. "Don't go. I'm having fun." He said. I turned around, so I was facing him,and he put his arms around my neck. "I want to get my wet clothes off. The last thing I need is too catch a cold." I said. He just smiled at me. "You can take them off here." He said. "Charlie!" I shouted. "Just kidding. Well, now I wasn't but, whatever." He said, and we both laughed. "So how come you can never fully call it off with Chase?" Charlie asked me. "I don't know. I just can't. He is-don't tell anyone." I told him. "Never! It's me your talking too!" He said. "Exactly!" I told him. He just smiled. "I promise." He said. "He is the only person I've ever been with." I said. "Oh, you dated other people." Charlie said. "I'm not talking about dating." I said. "Oh!" He said, catching on. "Really? But your so hot." He said. "Oh please!" I told him. "No really! I think we've got to fix that!" He said.
I laughed. "I don't think it is something that needs to be fixed."
"You're fine with that?" He asked surprised.
"Uh, yeah." I said. "Don't act so surprised, geez. You know me. I don't go sleeping around."
"You're too propper, Robyn." He said. "You're too much of a good girl."
"It works for me." I said.
"You're too innocent, love." He said. "Chase is too different. He's no good for ya."
"Do I sence jelously, Mr. Charlie?" I said laughing.
"Nope."
"How many women have you been with?" I asked.
He laughed. "I think I am wise enough not to tell."
"You brat!" I said hitting him. "I just told you!"
"Just five." He said.
"JUST five?" I asked laughing.
"That isn't exatly a lot. Not something to brag about anyway." He said. I started laughing. "That is so crazy." I said. "See, you are too innocent." He said. "I am not." I told him. "Yes you are. But it's okay." He said. He kissed my forehead, and started climbing out. He was drunk though, and fell back in. "Oh boy. Gonna have to use the stairs." He said, swimming over to them. He climbed out, grabbed his beer, and sat in wone of the lounge chairs. I got out, sat on him, facing him, putting my legs around him. "I'm not TOO innocent though?" I asked him. "No, you are just perfect the way you are." He said. I smiled at him. "Thank you. I'm glad you are my friend. I love you. All of you guys." I said. "Oh, I love you too. And you are very drunk my dear." He said. "SO are you!" I slurred. "Yes, but I'm a hotter drunk." He said smuggly, taking a sip of beer. "Am not, I'm way hotter then you." I told him, laughing.
"So why do you like to sit on our laps in such a matter?" He asked. "You just want to tease us."
I laughed. "In such a matter?" I asked.
"Yes." He said.
"It's really cute how you say Chase." I said.
"Chase, Chase, Chase. Wanna make love?" He asked.
I started laughing. "Yeah like that's really going to work."
"Chase." He said. "CHASE!"
"And Charlie Jr. works just fine thank you." He said. "I couldn't stop laughing. "I love how you say love all the time too." I told him. "Is that so, Love?" He asked. I leaned down and started kissing him. "Oh boy." He said pulling away. "What?" I asked. "Amy and Luke would beat the fuck outta me, if we did this." he said. "Are they here?" I asked him. "Oh shit." he said. "I'm sorry. I'll get up." I said. "Oh, no! I'm not ready for that Love!" He said. I started laughing. "You sure don't kiss like an innocent woman." He told me. "Oh really?" I asked. "Ohhhhh really." He said. He was getting nervous, and I thought it was funny. Charlie never got nervous. "So you don't want me to get up, but you don't want me to sit on you?" I asked him. "Oh, remember, I havn't had any for 4 months." He said. I giggled. "You are so drunk dear." He told me. "I know. You are too." I told him. I pulled the back of the lounge chair forwared a bit, and then let go. The back snapped back, and fell charlie was now laying down. I leaned over him and kissed him again.
"Whoa, I don't think I want to start trouble with Luke." He said. "And you are very drunk, love."
"Stop telling me I'm drunk." I told him laughing.
"Chase! Love!" He shouted.
I started laughing really hard and fell onto the concrete. I made my elbow bleed. "Shit." I said.
"Innocent girls don't say the word shit, love." He said.
I stood up. I went to the pool and rinsed my elbow. Charlie sat up and picked up his clothes. "Let's get inside. I'll walk you to your apartment." He said.
"Aww. Okay." I said. "What?" He asked. "I was having fun with you." I told him. "Yeah, me too, but we are both pretty drunk, Love." He said. "Stop calling me love." I told him. "Why?" He asked. "It turns me on right now." I told him. He burst into laughter. He almost fell over, but I caught him. "Well, it does!" I said. We both leaned on each other and made it to my apartment. "I don't think I'm going to make it back home." He said, when we got in. You can sleep on the couch." I told him. "Okay." He said, and layed down right away. I tiptoed into the room and put changed out of my clothes. I don't think Abby was asleep, but she was certainly in her own little world. I left, shutting the door lightly. "What are you doing back here?" He asked. "And in your tight little tank top and panties?" He asked, gulping. "Oh, sorry. This is what I sleep in! I forgot you were out here!" I whispered, and started laughing. I fell over onto the couch and curled up with Charlie. "I'll get up in a second. I'm too drunk at the moment." I told him. But I didn't get up. We both fell asleep. Which is why it wasn't a surprize how Luke reacted the next morning when he came over and I was in my underwear, laying on top of Charlie, who was in his underwear, asleep. "WAKE UP!" I heard. I opened my eyes, and everything was blurry. I rubbed them and looked up, seeing Luke. "Oh, hi Luke." I said. I put my head back down on Charlie's chest. "Oh, Hi Charlie." I said, closing my eyes. "CHARLIE!" I shouted, jumping up. "What? What the fuck is going on?" He said, waking up. "Oh shit! I drank a lot." I said, looking at him. "What did you guys do?" Luke asked. "Nothing!" Charlie and I both said at the same time. Luke looked at us weird. "What is going on?" Abby said, walking out of the room.
"Nothing." I said. I went to the bathroom and got in the shower. I was embarassed. I stayed in the shower for a long time until I decided to get out. I dried my hair and put my towel around me. I went to the bedroom and got dressed. I brushed my hair and went back out to the living room. "I need a smoke." Luke said. He stepped outside.
"I'll come with you. It's nice out." I said. I went outside with him. We sat down in front of the door. He lit up a cigarette.
"You need to quit that." I told him.
He sighed loudly. "I know, you guys tell me all the time."
"I swear we didn't do anything. We went swimming, and came back here REALLY drunk." I told him. He started laughing. "I believe you." He said. "How embarassing! Charlie!" I said. Luke kept laughing. "Well I have to call Kado to see about the loan." I told him. "Wow, you are really doing this, arent you?" He asked me. "Yeah." I told him. "Well, I said I was in, so I'm still in." He told me. "Awesome!" I said, giving him a hug.
"If you could sleep with me or Charlie, who would you pick?" He asked.
"Luke!" I said hitting him. We both laughed.
"I just want to know." He said.
"You dork." I said.
"Seriously." He said. "I'm SO not going there!" I told him. "Oh, come on, I want to know." He asked. "Oh my gosh. We do you want to know?" I asked him. "I'm just curious!" He said. "Again, so not going there." I said. "It's Charlie, isn't it?" He asked. "Whoa! I told you, I'm not going there." I said. "I'd pick you." He told me. "What?" I asked. "I'd pick you." He said again. "Okay, this is getting a little weird. I'm going to go inside now." I told him. I went back in, and Charlie was on the couch. "You don't look so good." I told him. "I don't feel so fucking great." he said. "I'm sorry." I told him, sitting down next to him. "We really didn't do anything, did we?" He asked me. "No, I swear." I told him. "Okay. Good." He said. "Not that I wouldn't, just not when I'm that drunk. Isn't the right way and all." He said. "Okay. I'm calling Kado now!" I said, getting up. I couldn't handle things getting any weirder.
I stepped outside on the balcony and called him. He said we could all meet with him today at 5:00. I was so excited when I hung up. I ran inside. "We got an appointment, we got an appointment!" I said dancing around.
Charlie grunted and rolled over onto his stomach. "Suck it up, Charlie. You better not ruin this for me." I said.
"I'm going to go home and sleep." He said. He got up and left.
Abby walked back out of the room. She looked like hell. "Abby?" I asked. "What?" She asked. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "Yeah, I just promised Luke I would cool it with the drugs for a little bit. I feel like fucking shit." She told me. "I'm sorry. We have an appointment to get the loan at 5:00!" I told her. "Oh, thats good." She said, laying down on the couch. "Can you get me some water?" She asked. "Sure." I said, frustrated. No one else was excited. I got Abby a glass of water, and Luke came back inside. "Hey, we have an appointment at 5!" I said. "Okay, cool." Was all he said.
"Why am I the only one excited?" I asked annoyed.
"I just don't see how we can qualify for it." Abby said.
I started to get really angry. I looked at Luke. "I agree with her." He said.
"That's nice." I said rudly. I went to the bedroom and layed down on my bed.
Luke followed me back. "What?" I asked when he peeked his head in the door. "Sorry. I just don't see it happening." He said. "Then why did you guys agree to do it? Charlie is the only one excited!" I shouted at him. "Oh, Charlie is another story Robyn." He said. I got mad at him. I always hated it when he treated Charlie like he was an idiot. "Just go away. I need some sleep!" I told him. "Fine. Sorry." He said, shutting the door. I fell alseep soon after. I didn't wake up untill 3:00. I got up, took a shower, and found something to wear to meet Kado. I walked out of the room, and everyone was in the living room. Abby and Luke were on the couch, and Charlie was curled up on the small recliner we had. "Hey. Sorry we were so doubtful about the loan. I know we should at least give it a shot." Abby said. "Thanks. It really means a lot to me." I told them. "I'm hungry, can we get some food before we go?" Charlie mumbled from the chair. "Yeah, you guys all ready?" I asked them. "Yeah. Lets get out of here." Luke said.
We all hopped into Luke's truck and went to the small restaurant next door to our apartments. We all ordered coffee's. "I'm sorry about last night. I had too much to drink." Charlie said.
"It's fine. I was drunk too." I said.
"What did you guys do?" Abby asked.
"We went swimming and talked for a while." I said.
"That's it?" Luke asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Did you kiss her?" Luke asked.
Charlie looked at me. I nodded and laughed.
"Shit." Charlie said looking embarassed.
"You better be careful next time, gosh!" Abby said. "Don't drink so much!"
"Remember what we all agreed on a long time ago?" Luke asked.
I sighed, "Yes."
"Yes, yes, yes. None of us ever get involved." Charlie said. "I got it."
"Unfortunatly Charlie Jr. has a harder time understanding." I said, giggling. "Charlie Jr.?" Abby asked. "Oh fuck, I said Charlie Jr?" Charlie asked me. "Yup." I said. "Fuck!" He said again, turning red. Luke, Abby and I started laughing. The waitress came by to refill our cups and take our orders.
We all decided to get a couple orders of pancakes to share. "Fuck, I am so sorry." Charlie said. "Maybe we shouldn't drink that much again."
"You better not." Amy said. "Be right back, gotta pee." She got up and went to the bathroom.
"She still poppin those pills?" Luke asked.
I just shrugged my shoulders.
"I sure hope not. She gets weird." Charlie said. "She said she was going to cut back." I told them. "I hope so." Luke said. Amy came back a minute later. "What?" She asked, sitting down. We didn't realise we were all looking at her. "Nothing." I said.
"You guys are silly." She said smiling. "Gosh, I can not wake up today!"
"Did you take a pill?" Luke asked her.
She gave him a dirty look. "Shut up." She told him.
My phone rang. It was Chase. I answered it.
"Hey, babe." He said.
"Hi." I said.
"Heard you had an appointment for the loan. Just wanted to wish ya luck." He said.
"Thanks." I said. "I'll give you a call after we meet with him."
"You want to come over tonight?" He asked.
"Yes!" I said excited.
He laughed. "Good."
"Chase?" Abby asked when I hung up. "Yeah." I said smiling. The waitress brought out our food then. We ate, paid the check and left. Luke drove the four of us down to the bank to meet with Kado. We walked in, let them know we were there, and sat down in the loby. "Oh my god!" Charlie whispered. "What?" I asked. "Look at that woman over there." He said, pointing.
"So. . ." I said.
"Holy fuck, it's Ms. Beatty." Luke said quietly.
"Who?" I asked.
"That's her?!" Amy asked loudly.
"I'm confused." I said.
"You don't remember the story Charlie told us about Ms. Beatty?" She asked.
"No." I said. "Tell me."
"The teacher he slept with." She whispered in my ear.
"Oh my god." I said. Amy and I started laughing.
"Stop bringing attention this direction." Charlie said.
"You slept with a teacher?" I asked. "Shhhh. Yes, and she still looks pretty good." He said. I laughed. "Shut up!" He said again. She walked by, and Charlie tried to hide behind me. It almost worked, but she spotted him. "Charile?" she asked. "Charlie Winchester?" She asked, stopping in front of us. "Oh, found it!" He said, coming out from behind me. "Oh Hello Ms. Beatty." Charlie said. "How are you? And you know you can call me Jane." She said. "Hi Jane." Luke said waving. "Ms. Beatty." She corrected him. Abby and I had to cover our mouths so we didn't laugh.
"How have you been?" She asked him.
"Pretty good." He said. "Still working at the school?"
"Yeah." She said smiling. "Do you want to get dinner sometime? Just so we can catch up?"
"Uh. . . yeah I think I can do that." He said.
Charlie pulled out his cell phone. She told him her number and he programed it into his phone.
"Well, I've gotta get going. It was great seeing you again." She said. "Look forward to hearing from you."
He smiled. "You too."
"Bye." She said as she walked out of the bank.
"You're going to see her?" I asked.
"Hell yeah!" He said. Luke gave him a high five.
"Dorks." Abby said.
"Robyn!" I heard someone shout. I looked up and saw Kado. He still looked hot. He was wearing black slacks, a nice black shirt, and a shiney black tie. His hair was slicked back as usual. "Kado!" I said standing up. I walked over and he gave me a hug. "You look cute, as always." He said. "You look pretty hot yourself, lady killer." I told him. He called us into his office, and we all walked in and sat down.
"I will have to run a credit report on all of you." He said.
"If you could fill these out." He handed us all a small packet to fill out.
"Okay." I said.
He pulled an iPod out of his desk and started listening to it. "Let me know when you're done." He said.
I started laughing. "Very professional, Kado." I said.
"It's okay. It's just you guys." He said.
We all filled out our paperwork and gave it to him. He turned off his music. "Alright." He said. "I can run this report and I will have to do some math with your salaries. I'll let you know how much you can qualify for. I'd check out the club though and see how much they want for it. I would also suggest you figure out some ideas on what kind of business you want to start there. You know like if you're selling alcohol, you'll have to get a liscence for that. You just gotta figure out how you want to make your money." He smiled.
"Okay. Can you give us a day or so?" I asked him. "Absolutely. I'll give you a call in two days." he said, and smiled at me. We all shook his hand and got up to leave. "Oh, Robyn, can I talk to you for a second?" He asked me. "Yeah, sure. I'll catch up to you guys." I told everyone. I sat back down in the chair when they left. Kado came over and sat next to me. "You have an amazing idea here. Go, check the place out. If you want I can come with you. Help you look the place over. My father works in construction, and remodeling, so I could help you figure out what that stuff will cost you too." He said. I smiled. "That would be awesome!" I told him. "Only for you babe. How about you call the realtor and see when you can stop by to look at the place." He said, and handed me the phone. I pulled the add out of my purse and called the Realty company. They lady seemed shocked that I was interested. "To be honest, we thought this place would get bought by a developer and torn down. You are our first caller! The owners will be happy to here the have an interested buyer. How about you come by tomorrow at 4:00? I'll be there waiting for you." She said. "Okay, great!" I told her. I hung up and told Kado. "I'll pick you up at 3:30 tomorrow. Hope you like riding on classic motorcycles." He said, smiling. "Really?" I asked getting excited. "Yeah baby, you gotta do things in style!" He said. I giggled. I always got that way around him. He gave me a hug good bye, and pinched my but, making me laugh again. "Later babe." He said winking. "Bye." I said, getting shy. I left and Luke drove us all to the apartments. We all went to mine and Abby's place. "Can I come too?" Charlie asked excitedly, after I told him waht Kado said. "Um, I think we should all take a look at it, but tomorrow I kind of just wanted to you know. Go with Kado." I told him. "Oh, I get it." Charlie said winking. "Ewww. That guy is so weird." Luke said. "He is not!" I said, looking at Abby for support. She just shook her head letting me know she agreed with Luke. "Oh please you guys!" I told them.
"You can't act like that with him anyway." Abby said. "You're dating his nephew."
I giggled. "Damnit, I always forget that."
"That's horrible." Charlie said.
"Oh fuck off." I said getting mad.
"Whoa! Just kidding. How does that work anyway? He's his uncle, and only a few years older." Charlie said. "I'm not explaining it. If you can't figure it out you are a dumbass." I said, irritated. "Geeze! Where did that come from?" Abby said. "I'm sorry. I just like Kado. I think is cute, and differant." I told them. "Yeah, okay then." She said. "Yeah, you have interesting taste." Luke said. "Excuse me?" I asked. "Chase isn't the greatest guy." He explained. My mouth dropped open. "What? He is a great guy! What is this, intervention of Robyn's taste in men?" I asked. "No, just saying, gosh." Luke said. "I have fine taste thank you! I almost slept with Charlie, didn't I?" I shouted. "Whoa, almost? Really?" Charlie asked. "Oh my gosh! I'm going to go see Chase!" I said. I left and drove to Chase's apartment that he shared with two guys we knew in Highschool. "Robyn! I haven't seen you in a while! How are ya?" Trey asked when he opened the door. "Okay. Chase here?" I asked. "Yeah, in his room. Come on in!" He said, opening the door wider. "Hey Robyn!" Josh said from the couch. "Hey, how are ya?" I asked him. "Good!" He shouted. I walked back to Chase's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" He shouted.
I opened the door. "Hey, it's me." I said smiling.
"Hey, it's you." He said.
I laughed. "I wanted to see you. Everyone is making fun of me at my apartment. They are pissing me off."
"Why are they making fun of you?" He asked. I closed his door and sat down on his bed next to him.
"They are making fun of the guys I find attractive." I said.
"Hey!" He said.
I laughed. "You're hot, don't worry."
"I know." He said.
"I told them Kado is cute and they made fun of me." I said.
"Kado gets all the girls." He said.
"Does he have a girlfriend?" I asked.
"He's dating two girls right now." He said. "He's having trouble choosing which one he wants to keep."
"Oh."
"Why?"
"Just wondering." I said.
"Come here." He said. I scooted over to him and he hugged me.
"You're so great." I told him.
"So are you." He said smiling. "Do you ever think about marriage?" He asked.
"What?"
"Marriage." He laughed.
"Like us getting married?" I asked.
"Yeah."
"Well, yeah. Of course I've thought about it." I told him.
"And what do you think?" He asked.
"I don't know. I said. "I think it could be amazing."
"Me too." He said.
"What are you saying?" I asked him. "I don't know. I've just been thinking about it." He said. That made me smile. "What?" He asked.
"Nothing, You are just so sweet sometimes." I told him.
"I try." He said smiling.
I leaned over and kissed him. I went to put my hand on the back of his neck, and got my braclet caught on his earing. "Ow!" He said. "Oh, sorry!" I told him, untangling it. "It's okay." He said smiling.
"I really love you." He said.
"And I really love you." I said back smiling. I kissed him again.
"I just think we've been playing games long enough, don't you?" He asked.
"Yes." I smiled.
"Do you want to move in together when our leases are up?" He asked.
"Yes!" I said excited. "Gosh, I never thought you wanted this relationship to go anywhere. I stopped taking it seriously!"
"I know, I'm sorry." He said. "I've just been thinking about it a lot for a while now."
"You're the sweetest!" I said smiling.
"No, you're the sweetest!" He said.
"Okay, I love you, but I'm not getting that cheesey with you!" I told him, and he laughed. "Deal." He said. "Wow, this is so amazing!" I told him. "Do you want to go to the bar tonight?" He asked me. "Yeah sure! You and I havn't gone out in a while." I said. "Josh's band is playing tonight. I figured we could go show him some love." Chase said. "Well, I for one think that is a great idea!" I told him.
"Well, good." He said.
I laughed, "I'm so happy!"
I gave him a hug. "I'm going to go home and get all dolled up for you."
"Really?" He asked.
"Don't act so surprised!" I said laughing. "Sheesh!"
"You go get dolled up for me." He said.
"You better look nice for me too!" I said.
"Of course, baby." He said smiling.
"It's funny cause I feel like we are dating for the first time again." I said.
"Yeah, kind of." He said.
"I just mean the excitement part." I said.
"I know." He said. "Let's try not to let it die down so quickly either like most couples."
"Good idea." I said giving him a kiss.
I'll call you later okay?" I told him. "Okay." He said. I left. "That was fast!" I heard Trey say when I walked out of Chase's room. "I'll be back." I told him, and left. I drove home and Charlie and Luke were still at the apartment. "Hey! Look at you all happy and shit!" Charlie said, when I walked in. "Well,I have good news!" I said. "Oh really, and whats that?" Abby asked. "Chase asked me to move in with him when this lease is up." I said getting excited.
"What?" Charlie asked. "That is crazy."
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"Nothin, love." He said.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Amy asked.
I looked at Luke hoping he had something good to say. "It is pretty crazy." He said.
"Why is it that everything I am excited about has to be put down by you guys?" I asked.
"It is just a little sudden, that's all." Charlie said with his hands up.
"Sudden?" I asked. "We've been dating for a long time."
"And how many times have you broken up?" Luke asked.
"You are an asshole!" I shouted pointing at Luke.
"She does love him." Abby said. "I know that. I just didn't think you got along well."
"We hardly ever fight." I said.
"Then why do you break up so much?" Charlie asked.
"Because we stopped taking our relationship seriously." I explained. "And now we are and I am very happy about it. It would be nice if you could just be happy for me." I went to the bathroom to put some make up on.
I heard the three of them arguing about something. Charlie walked in the bathroom. "You don't knock?" I asked him. "Sorry. Sorry about not being more supportive. I guess you kind of just took me by surprise there, Love. I don't care what they say. You are a smart lady. Whether it works out or not, I'll always be here for you." He told me. I looked over at him. "Thank you Charlie. That really means a lot to me." I told him, and gave him a big hug. He kissed my cheek and he left so I could finish getting ready. I heard them arguing again. I'm guessing Luke and Abby didn't agree with Charlie. I just ignored it. I applied my eye-make up dark and smokey. My hair is a light brown, and at that time I had it died really dark brown. I took my hair out of the ponytail, and parted it so I could pull it into two low ponytails. When I was done, I walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom to change, avoiding the looks from Luke and Abby on the way.
I put on my black tube top and my short jean skirt. I slipped on my black platforms and went to the kitchen to get some water.
"You look nice." Luke said. I just ignored him.
"Where are you going?" Abby asked.
"I don't know. Chase is taking me to see his friends band play." I said.
"Oh cool." She said smiling.
"And all of a sudden you are getting dressed up for him?" Luke asked.
"Shut up." Abby told him.
"Is there something wrong with that?" I turned and asked him. "No. You just never did before. He suddenly wants to move in with you, and now your relationship is miraculously-" He started to say.
"Shut up Luke. At least I have someone, and I'm not afraid of relationships!" I shouted.
"Hey, that was not called for!" Abby said to me. "Neither is treating me like this. It is my decision." I said. I grabbed my purse and walked outside. I didn't feel like dealing with them. It was early, but I couldn't stand being in there anymore. "Wait!" I heard Charlie shout. He walked out of the apartment and shut the door behind him. "Wait." He said again, putting his hand on my shoulder.
Luke walked out after him. "Can I talk to her alone?" Luke asked.
Charlie went back inside.
"What do you want?" I asked annoyed.
"Tell me you love him and I'll shut up." He said.
"I love him." I said.
He nodded and looked upset. "Okay." He said softly.
"I use to get dressed up for him, Luke. We just kinda got too comfortable or something." I explained.
"I know." He said.
"So, can you be happy for me?" I asked.
"I can try." He said. "I guess I'm a little jelous."
"Luke." I said hugging him. "You'll find someone. I promise."
"No, that's not what I mean." He said. "I just like you."
"Heh?"
He laughed. "I'll be fine."
"You never told me that." I said.
"Just figured you'd break up for good and I could swoop in there." He said smiling.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"No biggie. I'll get over." He sighed.
We went back inside. Ben sat down on the floor. I sat down behind him and massaged his back.
"So, you're moving in with him. What does this mean?" Charlie asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"What does it mean for the club? Your relationship? Do you have any other future plans you'd like to share with us?" He asked.
I laughed, "No other future plans yet. And it won't affect the club at all."

"You swear? Because I'm really into it now!" He said. "Yes Charlie, I am sure!" I told him. "Hey, why don't we put some music on." Abby suggested. "Yeah! Oasis!" Charlie shouted. "Oh God! Not again! That is what you always listen too!" I shouted. "Hey, do you have a problem with Oasis, Love? Because if you do, we are so through." He told me. I started laughing. "How about I pick since it was my idea!" Abby said. "Go for it." Luke told her. She got up and put a CD in. "You can't go wrong with a comp CD." She said, sitting back down. We sat around and talked for a bit, untill it was time for me to call Chase. We decided I would just meet him at his place, and he would drive us to the bar. "Okay, Well, I'm out you guys." I said. I gave everyone a hug, and left.
I went to his apartment and knocked on the door. "Come in!" I heard him shout. I opened the door. There was a trail of rose pedals from the front door to his bedroom. I giggled. "What are you up to, mister?" I asked.
He didn't answer. "Chase?" Still no answer. I picked up a rose pedal and smelled it. It smelled so good. "Roses, my favorite!" I said. He still didn't say anything. I walked up to his bedroom door and peaked into the room. I didn't see him, but the the trail of rose pedals went even further to the bathroom door. "You're cute." I told him. I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. There were a bunch of candles lit and it the light was off, so it was kind of dark. I looked over and he was in the bathtub. "You're not ready to go yet?" I joked.
"You look pretty." He said smiling.
"Thank you." I said walking up to him. I looked down and there were rose pedals in the water with a lot of bubbles. "Aww." I said smiling.
"Baby, you made me get all dressed up to take a bath?" I asked.
"How about we just stay in tonight?" He asked.
I smiled, "Okay."
"I don't get the place to myself very often, I thought we could make the most of it." He said. "Well, I think you have a brilliant idea." I said. I put my purse and shoes on the floor by his bed and undressed out in his room. I walked into the bathroom again, and Chase smiled at me. "Come here." He said. I smiled back at him, and walked over to the bathtub.
"Nobody's ever done anything like this for me before." I said. "I'm all nervous."
He laughed, "Nervous? Don't be nervous, silly."
"Come here." He said.
I got in and sat down in front of him. He put his arms around me.
"This is so nice." I told him. I layed back and closed my eyes.
He pulled my hair from off of my neck, and kissed me right below my ear. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you too. We waited to long to do this." I told him. "I agree." He said. I turned my head and we started kissing.
My stomach started to tingle. I was so nervous and couldn't figure out why. "Turn around." He whispered. I got up and turned around. I hugged him and we started kissing again.
He put his arms around me to pull me in closer. We fooled around for a while before it started getting too hot. "Do you mind if we take this to the bed?" I asked him. "Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing." He said smiling. We got out and each grabbed a towel. I took the candels out of the bathroom and put them on the tabel by his bed. We stood next to his bed and started kissing again. I dropped my towel. "Lay down." I whispered, pulling his towel from around his waist.
He was smiling really big. I giggled. "I still have butterflies in my stomach." I told him.
"Get over here." He said.
I layed down on top of him. "You are so cute." I told him.
"Stop telling me things I know." He said.
I laughed, "Oh hush."
I started kissing him again, and he started running his hands a long my back, and through my hair. It felt so good. "I have been waiting all day for this." I told him. "Me too." he said and kissed my neck. We fooled around for a little while, and I started getting cold. "Are you that excited?" He asked me, when I got a chill. "Yes, but thats not why i'm shaking. I'm kind of cold." I told him.
"Sure." He said.
"Really!" I told him.
"Okay, I believe you. He said. We both got up and climbed under the blankets.
He held me in his arms. We just layed there for a while and ended up falling asleep for like an hour. We woke up to someone blasting the radio in the living room.
"Aw man. That didn't last long enough." Chase said. He got up and turned on his stereo. "My guess is we have a few more minutes before whoever is out there drunk comes back here to see what we are doing." He explained, locking the door. He climbed on top of me in the bed, and put my hands over my head. I just smiled at him, and he smiled back then kissed me. We had sex, and sure enough, right after there was a knock on the door. "Hey whats with the fucking rose petals? I'm not fucking you Chase!" We heard someone yell. We both started laughing.
"But I put them there just for you, Chris!" Chase shouted. We laughed. We got up and got dressed. I brushed my hair and put it up in a pony tail.
We walked out to the living room and Trey was on the couch with his friend Chris. There were a couple other guys there I didn't know. "Where is Josh?" Chase asked Trey. "He is playing, remember?" Trey said.
"Yeah, but what are you all doing here?" He asked.
Chris pulled a pipe out of his pocket. "I see." Chase said smiling.
"So, Mr. Romantic." Trey said. "What's with that shit? Are you in love or something?"
"I am actually." Chase said puting his arm around me. I smiled.
"Oh, I see. Ooolala!" Chris said. They started passing the pipe around. "None for me thanks." Chase said. "Hey, you wanna head out?" He asked me. "Yeah, sure." I told him. "Alright, see you guys later." Chase said. "Bye!" Everyone said, and we left. "Didn't think you wanted to be around that." He said on our way out to his car. "Aww. I don't care, but I'm glad you thought of me." I told him. He smiled at me. When we got to his car he unlocked the door and opened it for me.
"I have to say you are earning lot's of points tonight." I said.
"What can I say?" He said. "I'm just a nice guy."
I giggled, "Yes you are." I got in the car and he closed the door.
I leaned over and unlocked his door. He climbed in, and started the car. "So where are we going?" I asked.
"Um, I'm not sure. Any suggestions?" He asked.
"Nope. Your choice." I told him
"Hmmmm How about The Rotten Egg?" He asked.
"Sure! I havn't been there in a long time!" I told him. The Rotten Egg was a bar in the shady part of town. It was an awsome hang out though, with live bands.
When we got there, the place was packed and very loud. We sat down at a table in the corner. He went to the bar and ordered us each a drink.
He came back with two Budlights. "This place has gotten a lot crazier!" I shouted. "I know, I guess word got out." He shouted back. "So, how have been the last month?" I asked him. "Not too bad. I missed you a lot." He said. "Aww. I thought about you too!" I told him. A couple guys came over to say hello to Chase.
They looked really sleezy. He introduced me to them, but I didn't really pay much attention.
"We're going out Pine if you want to join us." One of the guys said.
Chase laughed, "Oh no thanks."
"You clean now?" Another guy asked.
"Um, for the most part yeah I am." Chase told them.
"Another one bites the dust." One of the guys said. "Hey, It's done a lot of good for me to quit." Chase said. "Yeah, Yeah. Well, see you around bro." The guy said, and the all left. "You really gave up most of that stuff?" I asked him. "Yeah, it was doing me no good. Besides, I knew you didn't like it a whole lot. I put a lot of thought into us Robyn." He said. I smiled at him. "I wish Abby would quit. She worries me sometimes." I told him. "Giver her time. She is smar, I'm sure she probably will." He told me.
"I know." I smiled.
"Let her have fun, she's young. She's smart enough not to do something stupid." He said.
"I hope so."
"Don't worry about her." He said.
"I don't worry about her too much." I said.
"Good." He said.
"Okay, this band really sucks!" I told him. "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing!! They're set should be over soon." He yelled. "Want another beer?" He asked. "Um, how about a shot?" I suggested. "Oh, you want to get crazy?" He asked me. "Maybe." I said, Biting my bottom lip. "Be right back baby." He said, and walked over to the bar.
He came back with a shot of Jagermeister and handed it to me. "Wow." I said giggling. I picked it up and drank it quickly. I slammed the shot glass on the table smiling.
"Woo!" He screamed.
I laughed, "Oh yeah!"
I cool punk band came on next. "Hey, We should go dance to this!" He shouted. "YEAH!" I said, jumping up and running to the floor in front of the stage.
We danced around for a couple minutes, then went back to our drinks. We watched the band play, then decided to leave when they finished. The place was too busy and we were getting tired.
I kept laughing at dumb stuff the whole way home. "What is so funny?" Chase asked me, unable to figure out what I was laughing at. "Nothing. Everything is just funny right now." I told him.
"You are so drunk!" He said.
"I know, wasn't that the point?" I asked. He started laughing.
"Yeah, I guess it was."
We got to his apartment a little while later, and the guys were still there.
"Chase!" Trey said.
"What's goin' on?" Chase asked.
The entire apartment smelled like pot.
"Just chillin." Chris said.
"Holy Shit guys! How much did you fucking smoke in here?" Chase asked. "Um, a lot." Chris said, and then laughed. That made me laugh. "Oh, someone is drunk." Trey said. "Well, someone is baked." I told him, and Trey and Chris started laughing.
I looked at Chase and he looked frustrated. He took my hand and pulled me toward his bedroom.
"Don't flatter them." He said rudly.
We got back to his room, and he slammed the door.
"Flatter them? What are talking about?" I asked. He just walked over and layed down on the bed.
"Chase, whats wrong?" I asked him.
He didn't say anything, and I started to get frustrated. "Chase? What did I do? I don't understand." I asked him again.
"You just shouldn't be joking with them." He said.
"What? I can't joke with them?" I asked.
"You shouldn't." He said. "Not when they are acting like idiots."
"Okay." I said. "I'm sorry."
I layed down next to him.
"If they bug you so much, why don't you ask them to do it somewhere else?" I asked Chase.
"I've tried, but I share this apartment with them, so I can't exactly make them stop." He explained. We layed there for a while together and I fell asleep. I was awoken a little while later by Chase.
"Hey sleepy head." He said when I opened my eyes.
"What?" I asked.
"Change out of your clothes and put this on. It'll be more comfortable." he told me, handing me a t-shirt of is. He kissed my forehead and walked out of the bedroom. I could hear the guys in the living room playing their music kind of loud. After I changed, I climbed under the covers and waited for Chase to come back.
He didn't come back for about fiteen minutes. He layed down and put his arms around me.
"What were you doing?" I asked him quietly.
"I just hung out with them for a few minutes." He said.
"I thought you were mad at them." I said.
"I was, but now it's fine." He said.
"Did you smoke?" I asked.
"A little. Why?" He asked.
"Chase!" I shouted.
"I thought you quit?" I asked him. "I did, but I just really wanted to tonight." He said.
"Why would you do that? After getting mad at me for joking around with them?" I asked him.
"It's no big deal. I'm sorry." He said. "It is a big deal. You gave that up, why would you start up again?" I asked him.
"Just go back to sleep. Everything is fine." He said.
"Chase."
"It's fine!" He shouted.
I got up and started changing back into my clothes. I couldn't drive home, but I new I could call Luke or Charlie to come get me.
"What are you doing?" He asked me. "I'm going home. We can discuss this tomrrow Chase." I told him.
"Oh stop being silly." He said. "Get back here."
"No!" I said. I got my purse and left. I ignored everyone on my way out. I stood next to the front door and called Luke. He didn't answer, so I tried again. This time he answered.
"Hello?" He mumbled.
"Did I wake you up?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said clearing his throat.
"I'm so sorry, Luke. Can you come pick me up though? Chase pissed me off. I want to go home." I said.
"Yeah." He said. "I'll be right there."
"Don't wake Charlie." I said. "I didn't call him, because I was afraid he would try to start a fight or something with Chase or his friends."
"I won't." He said. "Be there in a couple minutes."
I walked out and sat in on the curb in the parking lot. I started crying. I always tried not to cry, but Chase really pissed me off that night. He promised he quit, then as soon as we started dating again, he started smoking again.
"Robyn." I heard Chase call my name. I just ignored it.
"Robyn, you are being silly, come back in." He said.
"No, I'm going home." I told him.
"Are you crying? Big baby. I just smoked a little pot." He said.
"Big baby? Fuck you. go back inside!" I shouted. "Fine I will, but so are you!" He said, grabbing my wrist and pulling me up.
"Let go! I'm going home!" I yelled at him.
"No you aren't!" He said again, and started dragging me back to the apartment. I twisted away and walked back out to the parking lot. I was hoping Luke would hurry his butt up.
"Robyn, come here!" Chase shouted. He walked back over and grabbed my arm. I turned and hit his shoulder with my other hand.
"Let go!" I shouted, and hit him again. He pushed me, and I fell to the ground, scraping my elbo and knee.
"You fucking jerk!" I shouted, crying again.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" He said, walking over to me. "GO AWAY!" I shouted at him. Just then I saw Lukes car coming up. I was sitting in the middle of the parking lot, and he stopped the car right in front of me. He climbed out and ran over to me.
"Robyn, what the hell happened?" He asked helping me up. He looked over at Chase. "I didn't mean to! Fuck!" Chase said. Luke started walking over to him. "Luke don't!" I yelled at him. He stopped. "Don't ever fucking touch her again." He shouted, and then helped me into the car. We drove off, and Chase just stood there watching us leave.
"What happen?" He asked.
"Nothing. He smoked pot and it made me mad. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten mad about it." I said.
"Does he know how you feel about that?" He asked.
"Yes." I said.
"Okay then you have every reason to get upset." He said. "Don't worry about it though. I'm sure everything will be fine. Talk to him tomorrow when he's sober."
"I know." I said. "He just turned into a different person."
"Don't worry about it, babe." He said.
"I'm just a little shaken up, thats all. I'll be fine." I told him. We go to the apartments and he walked me to my place. I went in, and Abby was asleep. "You can come in if you want." I told him. He walked in, and I shut the door.
"Let me look at your knee. It's bleeding." He said. He walked me to the bathroom, and cleaned out the scrap. He dug around the drawers untill he found some bandaids, and put them on.
"There, all cleaned up." He said. I stood up, and he hugged me.
"Robyn, be careful, okay? I care about you a lot and I don't want to see you get hurt." He whispered. I held onto him and started crying.
"It's okay. Things will work out babe." he said, kissing my forehead.
"I know." I said.
"He's not a bad guy." He said. "I trust your judgement too."
I smiled, "Thanks."
"So you must have had a pretty good day for the most part." He said. "You didn't call us all day or come home."
"Yeah. We had a really good time together." I said. "He made it all romantic."
"Well, thats good." Luke said, smiling. "I'm going to head home. We both look pretty tired." He said.
"Okay. Thanks." I said.
"Anytime."
He left and I changed and went to bed.
The next morning I woke up to Charlie and Luke laughing really loud.
"Are they EVER at their own apartment?!" Abby shouted.
Charlie barged into our bedroom. "We like it here, Love." He said.
"Excuse you." I said.
"Yeah can't you knock!" Abby shouted.
He ran over and jumped onto the bed.
"Wake up! Get up!" He shouted.
"Get off my bed!" Abby yelled at him. He got up and jumped on my bed.
"Charlie!" I yelled at him.
"What Love? Time to wake up, it's a brand new day!" He shouted.
"I'm going to punch you if you don't let me go back to sleep!" I yelled at him.
"Sorry, no can do. Time to get up." He said, and climbed under the blankets with me. He just stared right at me. I tried closing my eyes, hoping he would go away, but it didn't work. "FINE!" I'm getting up! I yelled.
"It's about bloody time!" He said, climbing out of my bed.
"We're up, not what the fuck is so important?" Abby asked.
"It's just a beautiful day and you're missing it." He said.
Abby sighed and put the blankets over her face.
"Hey now sunshine." He said. "None of that." He got up and pulled the covers off her bed.
"AHHHHHHH!! Charlie! I hate you!" She yelled. She couldn't help but laugh though. I got up and jumped in the shower. When I was done, Abby went in. I showered and got dressed. I could hear Luke and Charlie laughing and goofing off. "You guys are so annoying!" I told them. "What, you don't want to miss the lovely day, now do you?" Charlie asked. "Whatever. I'm meeting Kado today to check out The House of Blues. But that isn't untill later. So what the hell did you guys have planned for today?" I asked them.
"Oh, I don't know. We havn't thought of that, Love." Charlie said.
I just sighed and walked outside. I wanted to give Chase a call. He didn't pick up so I just left him a voicemail.
"Hey Chase, it's Robyn. I'm sorry about last night. I was just upset, and we both weren't exactly sober. Call me later, okay. So we can talk? Love ya." I said, and hung up.
I went back in and Abby was sitting on the couch with Luke. "Where did Charlie go?" I asked.
"Don't ask!" Abby said, and Luke started laughing.
"What did I miss?" I asked them.
"Whoa!" I heard Charlie yell from the bedroom. We heard him laugh.
"What the hell is he doing?" I asked.
"I'm not exactly sure." Abby said.
"She DID want to have sex with me!" Charlie shouted. He came running out to us. "Look!" He shouted. He had my diary in his hand. He saw me. "Oh shit." He said. My eyes started to tear up. I wrote very personal feelings in my diary. I was humiliated. I went to my room and slammed the door. I sat down on my bed. "She wanted to kiss you, Luke." Charlie laughed. "That night at the Bar in Lincoln."
I couldn't beleive he continued to read it. I got up and walked out to him. I pulled it out of his hands. "You're a jerk!" I shouted. I went back to my room again slamming the door behind me.
"Whoa! I fucked up didn't I?" I heard him ask them. One thing about Charlie, is he never understands when or why he has gone to far.
"Yeah, you did this time." Luke said.
"Ah Fuck. I'm Sorry, LOVE! I swear, it was all fun and games!" He said, knocking on the bedroom door.
"Go away." I told him. I was so embarassed.
"I'm really sorry!" He said again. I just ignored him. I hid my diary again, and layed down on my bed. Abby poked her head in.
"He's a jerk. But he is a jerk that feels really, really bad right now." She said.
"I know. I can't believe he read that." I told her.
"It's okay. Don't worry about it. Come on out. Make him work to make up for it." She said, smirking. I just laughed at her.
"I'd rather just stay in here for a little while." I told her.
"Okay, fine. We'll be out there." She said, and shut the door.
"I knew she wanted some Charlie love." I heard him say.
"Great." I said out loud to myself. "He is never going to let it go."
Charlie opened the door.
"Go away, Charlie." I said.
"Why do you care so much?" He asked. "I am flattered about what you wrote."
"Charlie, those were private thoughts!" I shouted crying. "Not for anyone to read or know about, but ME!"
He just stared at me like he didn't know what to say. "Leave please!" I cried.
"I'm sorry. I didn't think you would be so upset." He said. "I saw what else you've got hidden in your drawer." He said smiling.
"Get out, Charlie!" I yelled.
"But." He said.
"Now, Charlie!" I screamed.
"Oh my god." Abby said walking into the room.
"Charlie!" She yelled. "NEVER go through a women's dresser!"
"What do you got in yours?" He asked walking over to hers.
"You wouldn't dare!" She said.
He opened her top drawer and started looking through her stuff.
"Wow." He said when he found something.
"Oh my god." Abby said with her hands on her face. She looked really embarassed. Charlie laughed. "You girls should not be embarassed." He said.
"Maybe I should go through your shit." I said.
"Whoa!" He said pulling out a playgirl magazine.
"Abby!" I said.
Luke walked in. "What am I missing, holy shit." He said.
Abby stormed out of the room and out the front door. "Oh no!" Luke said running out after her.
"Shit." Charlie said. I went running out the door too. Charlie came running after me. I knew Abby was going to go through their closets.
We got the first and locked the front door, and propped a chair in front of it. Abby ran to the closet, and I ran to the small dresser that Charlie had. They got to the front door a second later and started knocking. "Hey! I had nothting to do with all this! Don't go through my shit!" I heard Luke yell. Abby and I started laughing. I could hear one of them jingling keys, trying to unlock the door. "Oh my god! Look at this!" Abby said, laughing.
"Holy Fuck! Not until you see this!" I said, opening Charlies drawer.

"What is it?" I asked.
"Seriously, let's go." She said with a serious look on her face.
She let the guys in. Charlie came up behind me and shut the drawer.
Luke looked really mad. "Did you go through my stuff?" Luke asked.
"I did a little, but I didn't see anything embarassing." She said.
He looked at her and she smiled.
"You're full of shit." Charlie told her.
"Robyn, let's go." Abby said taking my hand. She rushed out the door. "Oh my god, oh my god." She said quietly.
"What? Tell me, goodness!" I said.
"Is it possible that Luke is. . ." She said.
"Is what?" I asked.
She took a deep breath. "Robyn, there was a playgirl magazine under his clothes in the closet." She whispered.
"WHAT?!" I shouted.
"Shhh!" She said.
"That doesn't mean anything!" I whispered. "What?" She asked. "Maybe it was a gag gift or something." I said.
"What was in Charlie's drawer?" She asked me. I started giggling. "What?" She asked. "I'll tell you later, I promise." I said. "We should go back to our place. I think we got them back." I told her. All of a sudden we heard Charlie start laughing histaricaly from inside. "OH SHIT!" Luke shouted, and we heard him laughing too. "What is that about?" I asked. "Do we dare find out?" Abby asked me. The front door opened, and Charlie was standing there lauging. "Come back inside." He said, and let us. Abby and I looked at each other.
"You are such a liar Abby." Luke said.
"What?" She asked. He tossed the Playgirl magazine at her, and she started blushing.
"Charlie gave that to me as a joke for my last birthday!" He said, thinking he was off the hook.
"Why did you keep it?" I asked him. I don't think he was expecting the question.
"Why did you keep it?" Charlie asked. "Uh." Luke looked around. "I was going to give it back to you for your birthday!" Luke said.
"That's lame." Charlie told him.
"Well, Charlie has womens underwear in his drawer!" I shouted.
"Hey!" He said looking at me.
"Oh, and handcuffs, and more lubricant then I ever care to see in my life again." I said giggilng.
"Okay, how about we agree to NEVER go through any of eachothers things again? CHARLIE!" Abby said.
"Agreed!" I shouted.
"Deal!" Luke said. We all looked at Charlie.
"What?" He asked.
"Charlie!" Abby shouted.
"Okay, okay, Agreed." He said. We all started laughing.
I looked over at Luke, and he still looked really embarassed. He looked up and saw me looking at him, so I smiled, and he just looked away.
We all sat down on the couch. "I'm going to go smoke." Luke said standing back up.
"I'll join you." Abby said looking at me.
"Actually, Robynn. Can I talk to you?" Luke asked.
"Sure." I said.
I followed him outside. "You okay?" I asked.
He laughed nervously, "Well."
"It's okay, Luke." I said.
He smiled at me. "I don't want Charlie to know."
"He's your good friend. He's not going to care." I said.
"Yes he will." He said. He lit up a cigarette.
"I know he jokes and teases about that kind of thing, but I really don't think he will look at you any differently." I explained.
"Just don't tell him, okay?" He said. He looked nervous. "Don't tell Abby either."
"I wont. I promise." I said.
"I don't like you know, other guys I just like look-"
"Hey, You don't have to explain yourself!" I said, before things got even more awkward.
"Did you really want to kiss me that one night?" He asked.
"Yes. I did." I said, and he smiled at me.
"Oh stop!" I told him, laughing.
"Sorry, i just had to know. We almost did kiss that night. Why didn't we?" He asked.
"Because we knew it would be a mistake." I said. He looked away from me real quick.
"You really think so?" He asked.
"You know what I mean. Just like it would have been a big mistake to sleep with Charlie." I explained.
"That is differant though." He said.
"Hey, what do you say we go back in." I suggested when he put out his cigarette. I didn't like where the conversation was going.
"You promise?" He asked again.
"Luke, I swear." I said again.
"Okay, thanks." He said, and we went inside.
Abby and Charlie looked at us weird. "What?" I asked.
"Nothing." Charlie said. "But I am going to go take a shower." He got up and left.
"What the heck was that all about?" I asked.
She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know."
"Yes you do." I said.
"Seriously, he just started acting weird." She said.
"Abby." I said grabbing her arm. I pulled her up and took her to our bedroom.
"Did he tell you?" She asked.
"Oh my gosh." I said.
"Why?"
She giggled, "Charlie thought it was weird that he still had the magazine."
"I didn't ask questions about it, because it's his own personal thing." I said.
"So you don't know anything?" She asked.
"I promised I wouldn't mention it." I said.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing. He said he was trying to plan a way to get Charlie back, something embarassing. He still thinks that you guys think he just likes looking at men. He wanted to make sure we didn't think that, which is why he pulled me out there." I lied. Abbye looked at me funny.
"Okay, then." She said.
We heard our shower start.
"Damn it! Why can't he use his shower! CHARLIE!" Abby shouted. We walked out and sat on the couch. I sat next to Luke. "You two have a shower, why is he in ours?" I asked Luke.
"Just to bug you guys. You should know Charlie by now!" He said. I looked up at the clock and it was after 3:00.
"Oh my gosh! I have to get ready, Kado is coming at 3:30!" I shouted.
"You looke cute." Luke said.
"You don't understand!" I said, and got up to bang on the bathroom door. "Charlie, I'm coming in!" I shouted. I opened the door and he was still in the shower. I pulled out my makeup tin, and set on the counter so I could start getting ready.
"Aw are you coming in to join me?" He asked.
"You wish!" I said laughing.
"Hop in, Love." He said.
"No!" I said. "I am trying to get ready anyway. Kado is picking me up."
"Damn." He said.
"Oh stop." I said. "You are such a dork."
"Am not. I was being serious I hope you know." He said.
"Oh were you now?" I said, applying some foundation.
"Oh yes. I know you want me now, your diary proved it." He said. I just laughed.
"Well, I'm getting out now. Here is your chance to see me naked." He said.
"I'll pass. Thanks though." I said. I finished putting my mascara on, and turned around to get some toilet paper. Charlie was standing in the shower, naked and dripping wet.
"CHARLIE!" I shouted turning away. "What, I warned you I was coming out!" He said, grabbing the towel and wrapping it around him. "Oh my god! Great, now I've seen you naked!" I shouted.
"Oh no, like that is such a bad thing, Love. Too afraid you'll be even more tempted now?" He asked. "NO! Get out!" I said laughing. He gathered up his clothes and walked out of the bathroom. I finished up my make-up and hair, and walked out the bathroom laughing. I looked up and Charlie was sitting on the floor grinning. Abby and Luke both looked up at me.
"I have now seen Charlie naked." I said. They both laughed.
"Everyone has seen Charlie naked. What took you so long?" Abby asked, and we all laughed. I went to the room and changed into some clothes and then waited for Kado. There was a knock on the door a minute later.
Charlie opened the door. "What's up, man?" Charlie said shaking his hand.
My phone rang, it was Chase. "I'll be right back." I said. I went to the bedroom and answered it.
"Hey baby." He said.
"Hey." I said. "Kado us here. He's taking me to check out the club."
"I know. He told me to meet you guys there." He said.
"Oh, okay."
"Just making sure that's okay." He said.
"It's fine. I'm sorry about last night." I said.
"Me too." He said.
"See you later." I said, and hung up.
"Ready?" Kado asked when I walked out of the room.
"Yeah, lets go!" I said excitedly.
"Later guys!" Kado said, and we left. We walked out to the parking lot, and his bike was sitting there.
"That is hot!" I said. Kado just smiled at me. He climbed on and motioned for me to get on behind him. I had never been on a bike before, so I wasn't sure what to do. He just laughed.
"Just climb on!" He said. I did, and he turned a little to help me put on a helmet. I noticed he wasn't wearing one. "Okay, ready?" He asked. "Yeah!" I shouted. He started the engine, and took off. I had my arms around him, and was holding on so tight. It was a blast. The house of Blues was on the edge of town, and there wasn't much out there. We got there in no time, and saw the realtors car parked in the parking lot out front. Kado parked, and we walked over to a woman standing at the front of the building.
"4:00, right on time!" She said. "My name is Felicia Smith." She said, holding out her hand.
"You can call me Kado, and this here is Robyn." He said, shaking her hand. I shook her hand next.
"Ah yes, we spoke on the phone." She said, and I smiled. "Well, right this way." She said, pointing to the front entrance. We heard Chase's car pull in. He got out and walked over to us.
I gave him a hug. "Love you." I said quietly.
"Love you too." He said grabbing my butt. I giggled.
She showed us around and explained some procedures and things that needed to be fixed.
The place was a lot bigger then I thought. There were seats in the theater that we were going to take out. The balcony would be turned into the sound studio for during shows. The restrooms needed to be redone and up to code. The lobby area we decided would be turned into a giant bar, and place to sell merchandise. I kept getting excited the whole time. When we were done, she walked us back outside.
"Well, thats about it. Any questions?" She asked.
"I don't think so." I said.
"I can pick up the paperwork from Kado and see what we can do for you." She said.
"Thanks." I said smiling.
"Well, I have to get to work." Kado said. "See you guys."
"Bye." I said. "Thanks for everything."
Chase and I said goodbye to Felicia. Chase dropped me off at home, because he had to go to his parents house to help his Dad work on their lawn.
"SO? How did it go?" Charlie asked.
"It went great. The place is awesome! We'll be able to do so much with it. I'm going to swing by Kado's office tomorrow to go over the loan and everything." I said.
"Can I come?" Charlie asked, getting excited.
"Of course!" I said. Just then my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey, It's Kado. Guess what!" He said.
"What?" I asked.
"The bank aproved the loan. For the cost of the building, and the costs for renovations. As long as the four of you sign. They wanted someone to sign with a slightly better credit history, so I'll sign too. If I'm aloud to have a share." He said.
"Of course. You'd be a great help!" I told him.
"I also got a call from Felicia. She said the owners have recieved another offer from a development company. They would rather sell to you, but the deveopment company is offering more money. They are willing to sell to you though, if you buy it right away." He explained.
"What? Well, lets do it! What do we have to do?" I asked.
"Bring your friends down to my office right away. We'll sign the paper work, and tomorrow I'll work with Felicia." He said.
"Okay, we are on our way!" I shouted. I was so excited. We hung up, and I looked over at charlie, Luke, and Abby. They all wanted to know why I was so excited.
"Are you serious?" Abby asked.
"Yes, lets go!" I shouted. Charlie Jumped up and ran out the door. "Lets go!" He screamed. Luke and Abby laughed.
"Well, I guess we are really doing this." Abby said. We all got in Lukes car and drove down to the bank.
We got there and signed the papers. I called Chase as we were walking out the door.
"We got it!" I shouted when he answered.
"Oh baby that's so great! Congrats!" He said.
"Thanks! I'm so excited!" I said.
"I bet!" He said.
"We are going out to celebrate tonight!" Charlie shouted.
I laughed. "I'll call you in the morning, okay?"
"Okay." He said. "I love you."
"I love you too. Bye." I said.
"WOOO!" I shouted. Amy gave me a huge hug.
"I didn't think we could actually do it, but now I'm excited!" She said. Luke came walking out behind the three of us.
"Kado said he would call us tomorrow and we'll be able to pick up the keys to the place." He said smiling.
"We should invite him to celebrate!" Abby said.
"Yeah! I'll call him later. So, Where to?" I asked.
"Hmm." Charlie said. "It's up to you, Love. It was your idea."
"Okay." I said.
"What about The Cell?" Abby suggested.
"Sure." Luke said.
"Sounds good to me." I said smiling.
"Let's go!" Charlie shouted.
"Charlie, the two most common things you say have got to be 'Lets Go!' and 'Love'!" I said, climbing in Lukes car.
"You got it, Love. Now LET'S GO!" He shouted, and we were off to The Cell. I called Chase and Kado and told them they could head over if they wanted too. We got there, and it was early, so there weren't many people there yet.
We each got a beer. Charlie put his arm around me. He kept flirting with me and I was worried that Chase would show up and get upset.
"Charlie, stop it." I said.
"What's the matter, Love?" He asked.
"Stop being such a flirt! Go find a girl." I said.
"But I've found one Love." He said, and hugged me. I started laughing.
"CHARLIE! Stop it!" I shouted. He made a pouty face. I just laughed at him. A couple beers later, and Kado and Chase still hadn't shown up.
"SHOT TIME!" Charlie shouted. He left and walked over to the bar. I started talking to Abby, and then Charlie came back with luke and two shots for everyone.
"Alright! Two shots for everyone, one right after the other. Down the hatch!" Charlie said. We could tell he was already drunk. He set the shots in front of us.
We all held out the first shot. "To The House of Blues!" I said. "CHEERS!" everyone else said, and we drank the first shot, slammed the glass down, picked up the next one, took it, and slammed down the second glass. Abby and I reached for our beers right away. "Aw, pussies!" Luke shouted.
"You know it!" Abby said, wiping her mouth. She had spilled some of her shot.
"Woo! I have to pee!" I shouted. I got up and stumbled into the bathroom. When I came back Charlie was in my seat. I looked around and the place was filling up fast.
"Charlie, I want my spot back." I said.
"Nope, mine now." He said.
"Charlie!"
"Sit in my lap, Love." He said grinning. I looked at Abby and luke, and they were laughing at something, not paying attention to Charlie and I.
"Charile!" I whined.
"Robyn!" He whined back.
"Fine!" I said, and sat on his lap.
"Ah, isn't that bloddy better now Love?" He asked.
"You dork." I said. He rested his hand on my inner thigh.
"Charlie." I said.
"Yes?" He asked. I was drunk so I just giggled. "Wonderwall" By Oasis came on the jukebox. Charlie jumped up, and caught me just before I hit the floor.
"Come, Love! We HAVE to dance to this!" he shouted, dragging me to the little space cleared for people to dance. We danced and I laughed the whole time.
We walked back to the table. Chase and Kado were sitting there.
"Babe!" I said excited. I gave Chase a hug and a kiss.
"Ooooooh Abby?" Charlie said smiling. He walked up behind her and put his arms around her.
"Care to dance, Love?" He asked her.
"Charlie, you know I don't dance." Abby said.
"Aw, come on, please?" I heard him beg.
"No! Go have another beer!" She said.
"Oh Abby, come on! He is a good dancer!" I said.
"Oh fine!" She said, and got up. The walked out and Charlie started dancing really weird to piss her off.
"Hey, were did Kado go?" I asked Chase. When I looked up, Kado was no longer sitting there.
"Off to get more shots would be my guess." Chase said.
"Oh good! you two need to catch up to us!" I said.
Chase smiled at me. Okay, but we're all taking a cab home!" Chase said. "Agreed?" He asked.
"agreed!" Luke and I said at the same time.
Kado came back with another round of shots for everyone.
"Oh my!" I said.
"Yeah, Kado I don't think this girl needs anymore to drink." Chase said.
"Of course she does!" Charlie said running up to the table. "Charlie's Angels can drink!" He shouted. "Woo!"
Everyone started laughing.
"Okay, but if this angel gets sick, Charlie is holding her back." Chase said.
"Oh no, mate. Charlie will be in there puking his guts out right along with her." Charlie said, and we all laughed. Kado put a shot in front of everyone, and we all lifted the glasses up.
"Here, is to a prosperous futer!" Kado said, and we all slammed our shot. It was way too strong! I almost caughed it all up before it hit my stomach. I looked around and grabbed the first beer I saw. It was Charlies. I chased the shot, and when I looked up everyone had the same grimmace on their face. I looked at Charlie and he was choking.
"Oh shit! Sorry! I said, when I realized I had his beer. I gave it to him, and he chugged the rest of it.
"I don't mind sharing Love, but you can't leave me hanging like that!" Charlie said.
"Okay, Kado can't pick the shots anymore!" Abby said. Her eyes were all watery.
"What? Thats nothing!" Kado said.
"Nothing my fucking ass!" Luke shouted.
"I have to pee agian." I announced.
"Me too!" Charlie said.
"We'll walk each other!" I said. Charlie and I both stood up and imediatly fell over onto the floor.
"Are you okay?!" Chase shouted. He got up and helped me stand back up.
He put his arm around me and walked me to the bathroom. "Thank you." I told him smiling.
"Be careful okay?" He said.
"She's fine, Chase." Charlie told him.
Chase ignored him. "I'll wait right here. No more drinks, okay babe?" He said.
I nodded and went to the bathroom.
I got in the stall, and promptly threw up in the toilet. I sat on the floor for a minute untill I felt better. I stood up, and was still drunk, but not half as bad. I went out, washed my hands, and fixed my hair and make-up. When I walked out Chase was standing there waiting for me.
"You okay?" He asked me.
"Yeah, I'm better now babe." I said, and hugged him. He just laughed at me. We walked back to the table, and Charlie still hadn't come back yet.
"Ah fuck. I better go see if Charlie is okay." Luke said getting up.
I rested my head on Chase's shoulder and he put his arm around me. He kissed the top of my head.
"I think I'm ready to go home." I said. I started to feel really crappy again. I was almost in tears. I tried really hard not to cry. I didn't want to look like a big baby.
"Babe, are you okay?" Abby asked me.
"No." I said starting to cry.
"Oh dear. I'll call you two a cab." Kado told Chase.
"No, I can drive." Chase said.
"You sure?" Kado asked him.
"Yeah, I'm fine." He said. He stood up, and Chase and Kado helped me out to Chase's car. We got in, and I shut my eyes the whole time so I wouldn't feel sick. As soon as we got to my apartment, I ran to the bathroom and got sick again. I brushed my teeth, and washed my face, and I felt better. When I came out, Chase had made my bed, and had a glass of water for me. I changed into some comfy sweats, and climbed in bed. Chase stripped down to is boxers and climbed in bed with me.
"Good night. Get some sleep okay?" Chase told me.
"Okay. Thank you." I said, and fell asleep soon after.
I woke up really late the next morning, and Chase was still sound asleep. I was thirsty, and wanted some fresh water so, I got up. I noticed Abby wasn't in her bed. I opened the door and saw two people curled up under a blanket on the living room floor. I looked closer and it was Abby and Kado. They both looked like they were naked under there. I gasped, and held my breath so I wouldn't start giggling. I got my water, and rushed back to the room. I woke up Chase when I climbed back in bed.
"OH my GOD!" I whispered.
"What?" Chase asked.
"Kado and Abby are out there. Naked." I said, laughing.
"What?" Chase asked.
"YEAH!" I said.
"See, he always gets the girls!" Chase said laughing.

"I can't beleive her though." I whispered. I started to feel a little bit jelous, but I didn't really know what happen anyway. I tried to ignore the jelous feeling.
I turned over and cuddled with Chase. "Are you feeling better?" He asked.
"Yeah, I just have a little headache." I said.
"You want me to get you some Asprin?" He asked.
"No, I just want you to lay here with me." I said smiling.
"What is that?" He asked looking at the floor beside his bed.
"What?" I asked. He peaked over the bed. "What the hell." He said. He started laughing. I looked over the side of the bed and Charlie was laying there in his boxers. He had a rug over him like a blanket.
"Charlie!" I shouted laughing.
Right then, we heard Abby scream.
"Ah what a night, hu?" Chase said laughing. Charlie poked his head up. "Oh, hello, Love." He mumbled. We heard a door slam. "Oh my god!" We heard Abby shout. "Robyn!" She screamed. I got up and walked out to the living room. Kado was sitting there in his boxers. He pointed to the bathroom. I knocked on the door. "Abby?" I asked. She opened the door and pulled me into the bathroom. She opened the shower curtain and Luke was laying there curled up in a ball with no clothes on. "Somebody had way too much to drink!" I shouted.
"What did I do with Kado?" She asked. Luke opened his eyes.
"Why am I naked?" He asked.
"I don't honey. What did you do with your clothes?" I asked him.
"I don't know." He said. I handed him a towel, and he got up and walked out to the living room. I shut the bathroom door.
"Oh my god! I slept with KADO!" Abby said.
"I saw that." I told her.
"I barely even remember! How much did we drink last night?" She asked. "I don't know, but Charlie is curled up on my floor under your rug." I said. That made her laugh.
"I hope I didn't catch anything from Kado." She said.
"HEY! Thats uncalled for, he is a good guy." I said, still slightly jealous.
"Excuse me!" She said defensively, and walked out of the bathroom. I followed her out, and everyone was gathered in the living room. Charlie, Kado, and Chase were all dressed. Luke still had no idea what happened to his clothes, so he was sitting with the towel around his waist. I looked over at Kado, and he smiled at me, which made me blush, and look away. There was a very awkward silence amont everyone.
"Well, I'm going to go take a shower." Abby said, and walked back to the bathroom. "I think I'm going home. I fell like shit." Luke said, getting up, and stumbling out the door.
"Yeah, I should head home too." Kado said. He gave me a hug, said good bye to Chase, and left. I looked over at Charlie.
"What, Love? I'm feeling fine and dandy." He said. I just laughed.
"Charlie, go home and help Luke find his clothes!" I said, pushing him out the door.
"That was one crazy night!" I said to Chase.
"No fucking shit!" He said, laughing. We both sat down on the couch and turned on the TV.
Abby walked out a few minutes later. "Everyone gone?" She asked.
"Yup." I said.
"Good." She said. "I can not drink that much again. I am such an idiot!"
We all laughed. "Charlie was too wasted to watch over me." She said.
"Don't blame Charlie." I said laughing.
"I do blame him." She said. We all laughed again. "I'm going to go get dressed. Do you guys feel up to grabbing breakfast at the diner?" She asked.
"Sure." I said. "I want to take a shower though real quick."
"I'll join you." Chase said.
Abby rolled her eyes and went to the bedroom.

"What?" Chase asked me.
"I don't know." I said, shrugging my shoulders. I started the shower, and Chase jumped in while I grabbed us towels.
"You coming in?" He asked me.
"Of course I'm coming in. Just give me a second." I said, putting the towels on the back of the toilet and undressing. I climbed in and Chase was using my vanilla lavender body wash. I started laughing.
"What?" He asked.
"You are going to smell pretty now." I said, grinning.
"Hell yeah!" He said, and I laughed. We switched spots so I could wash my hair. Chase put his arms around me and started kissing me. I kissed him, and then pulled away.
"We'll fool around later. I'm hungry." I said.
"I'm holding you to that." He said, and I smiled at him. When we were done taking a shower we dried off. Chase got dressed, and I went to the bedroom to put on some jeans and a t-shirt. I pulled my hair up, and considered myself ready. I called Luke, but he didn't answer, so I called Charlie.
"Hello Love." He said.
"Hey Charlie, Breakfast?" I asked him.
"You betcha! Let me get Luke. We still have no idea what happend to his clothes." Charlie said, and I laughed. "Just meet us here when you are ready." I told him and hung up.
I went out to the living room, and Abby was on the couch watching TV. Chase was in the kitchen getting some water. All of a sudden I heard him burst into laugher.
"What?" Abby and I both asked at the same time. He just pointed at the refrigerator and kept laughing. He was practicly in tears. Abby and I jumped up and ran to see. I opened the fridge and Lukes clothes were in there.
"OH MY GOD!" Abby shouted, and we all started laughing. Charlie and Luke came in the front door.
"What the fuck is so funny?" Charlie asked, walking into the kitchen.
"Yeah, some of us have hangovers, come on people!" Luke said.
Abby and I were laughing to hard to tell them what was so funny.
"We found your clothes Luke." Chase said, and then started laughing again.
"What?" Luke asked. He walked into the kitchen and we showed him the fridge.
"What the fuck?" He asked.
"What the fuck is right, Bud. At least you mistook the fridge for the laundry bin, and not the toilet!" Charlie shouted, and we all laughed even harder.
"I didn't put them there. Someone else must have." Luke said.
"Sure, sweetie." I said.
He glared at me. "Let's go." Charlie said.
We all got in our cars and headed to the diner. We all had hangovers, some worse than others. We were all pretty out of it. "I'll be right back." Abby said getting up.
Luke looked up at me, and I shrugged my shoulders. Abby came back a few minutes later, looking completely differant. She looked really happy, and didn't look nearly as tired or at all hangover, like she was a few minutes ago. We all knew exactly what she was off doing. The waitress came and took our orders.
"So, lets never drink that much again." Luke said, when the waitress walked away. He pulled his sunglasses back over his eyes, and I laughed at him.
"Ah, we say that everytime now don't we Lukeyboy?" Charlie said.

Abby started laughing. "I won't be drinking that much again."
"You always say that too, love." Charlie said to her.
"I mean it this time." She replied smiling.
"Take your meds?" Luke asked her.
"Ah here we go again." Charlie said.
"Shut up, Luke." I said.
Luke looked over at Chase and realized he shouldn't bring it up.
Luke lit up a cigarette. "Do you have to do that while we eat?" Abby asked him.
"I don't see any food on the table." Luke said.
Luke started to say something, but bit his lip. "Could you guys behave?" I asked gesturing that Chase was there. They both got quiet.
"So, when do we start stuff with the H.O.B?" Charlie asked.
"The H.O.B?" I asked him.
"Yeah, The House of Blues!" He shouted. I laughed.
"When Kado calls us. We'll get the keys today or tomorrow. Then we can all go check it out. Kado knows some construction places we can work with." I told them. When I said Kado, Abby flinched. I couldn't figure out what her deal was. I would have been thrilled to wake up next to Kado if I was single.
"What?" I asked, when I realized Charlie was talking to me.
"Ah, nevermind." He said, as the waitress brought us our food.
We all ate quietly. I figured it was because we were all tired. We all went home to our own places after we were done eating. Amy and I just relaxed. We watched a movie and painted our nails.
"So, are you okay with Kado?" I asked her.
"I am totally weirded out about that whole situation." She said. "I do not like him that way. You know that!"
I laughed.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." She said. "I know you would have killed to wake up next to him."
"I would not!" I laughed.
"Oh, you can't fool me." She said. "I see the way you look at him. It is obvious you find him attractive."
"Well, I do find him attractive." I said.
"Well I don't." She said. "Please never let me drink like that again. I still blame Charlie."
We both laughed.
"I can't believe Luke put his clothes in the fridge!" I said, and we both started laughing.
"What a crazy night." Abby said.
"Yeah, no kidding. I still feel sick." I said.
"Yeah me too, but not from drinking." Abby said, making a face.
"ABBY! Stop! I bet he was really good, and you don't even remember." I said.
"I bet he was horrible, and it's a good thing I don't remember." She said. We both just laughed.
"Well, I think I'm going to go out for a bit. I'll be back later." She said.
"Where are you going?" I asked her.
"Just out. I'll be back later." She said again.
"Okay, okay. see Ya!" I said. She left, and I was bored.
I called Charlie to see what they were doing.
"Luke went to his Dad's place to help with somethin. You can come hang out with me though, Love!" he said.
"Alright." I said. I hung up the phone and walked over to his apartment. He was laying on the couch watching TV. "You're so lazy." I told him. "Your place is a mess and you're relaxing."
"You can clean up if you want, Love." He said smiling.
"Hell no!" I said.
"Then quit whining!" He said. I sat down in the bean bag chair.
"So, what are you watching?" I asked him.
"Shit. There is nothing on." He said, turning the TV off.
He got up, and jumped on the edge of the bean bag, bouncing me in the air.
"Charlie!" I shouted, laughing.
"What?" He asked. I got up and hit him in the head with the other bean bag.
"Hey, why all the hostility, Love?" He asked.
"You derseve it!" I said. I put the bean bag over him and sat down on it, so he was inbetween the two bean bags. He started laughing.
He stood up, and I fell off.
"I can't believe you were sleeping under my rug!" I said, laughing.
"Hey, It was warm." He said. And I laughed even harder.
"Abby's bed was right there!" i said.
"Yeah, but I was drunk. How was I suposed to know that." He said.
"What a crazy night." I said.
"Yeah. I was having more fun before Chase came and stole you from me. Abby doesn't like dancing with me." He said.
"That is because you are a horrible dancer!" I told him.
"Horrible yes, but I'm also a fucking great time!" He said.
"True, True." I said. He ran over, tackled me, and sat on me.
"I have too much energy!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, that I can see!" I told him, laughing.
"You love it." He said.
"Actually, I still don't feel so well, so you should probably calm down." I said.
He laughed and got up. "So, what do you say we hook up?" He asked.
"Charlie!" I said laughing.
"You and Abby sure like to yell my name a lot." He said.
"That's because you're always saying and doing goofy things." I told him.
"Turns you on, don't it, love?" He said winking.
I rolled my eyes, "Oh, please."
"You don't have to beg me more than once!" He said smiling. He picked me up and ran. He threw me on his bed and jumped on top of me.
"That was NOT me begging!" I shouted laughing.
"Well, this is me begging. Please, please, PLEASE!" He shouted.
"Charlie! No! Bad Charlie!" I said, laughing.
"But Charlie needs Robyn." He said making a pouty face. I just laughed.
"Oh come on, You felt the chemistry that one night. I know we were drunk, but I know it was there." He said.
"Are you being serious?" I asked him.
"Yes." He said.
"Wow. That's a first in Charlie's life. Being serious!" I said.
He leaned down and started kissing me. I should have stopped him, but I didn't. I couldn't. He was right. He started unbuttoning my pants when we heard the front door open. Charlie jumped off of me, and lost his balance, flying into the dresser and knocking stuff over.
"Charlie, what the hell are you doing in there?" We heard Luke say. I stood up and buttoned my pants. They were in a studio, so their "bedroom" was just seperated by a wall, they had no door. I saw Luke put some stuff on the kitchen counter. I looked up, and Charlie was trying to straighten the stuff on the dresser.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"Robyn's helping me clean up." Charlie said looking at me.
"But you don't need my help. Luke can help you." I said starting to leave.
"Hey." Charlie said. I looked over at him and he just stared at me with a serious look on his face.
"See you guys later." I said. I left their apartment. I wished I had someone to talk to, but I couldn't talk to Abby or Luke. They would both be pissed off if I mentioned it to them. I obviously couldn't talk to Chase either. I went back to my apartment. Abby still wasn't back yet. I sat down and turned on the TV. I started to kind of worry about Abby. She acted like she didn't want me to know where she was going. I thought about Dennis. I picked up my phone and called her. "Hi!" She shouted.
"Abby, where are you?" I asked.
"I'm with Dennis, but don't worry about me." She whispered.
"Abby, please come home." I said.
She sighed, "Be there in a few minutes."
About an hour went by, and Abby still hadn't showed up. I called her cell, but she didn't answer. I left her a voicemail asking her to please call me back. I was getting worried. I started cleaning up the apartment, and before I knew it another hour went by. I called her again, and still no answer. I called Luke.
"Hey, whats up? You left so fast earlier." He said.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I'm worried about Abby." I said, and told him she still hadn't come home.
"Knowing Abby, she just decided to stay longer. I'll try calling her. If she doesn't answer, we'll go see if we can find her, okay?" He said.
"Okay." I said, and hung up.
He called back a few minutes later. "She's on her way home. She said she is almost there." Luke said when I answered.
"Thank you." I said.
"Charlie and I are coming over." He said and hung up.
I wasn't sure if them coming over was a great idea. Charlie and Luke made it over first.
Charlie looked at me, and smiled. I just looked away.
"I've gotta use the bathroom real quick." Luke said, and walked into the bathroom. I sat down on the couch, and Charlie sat next to me.
"Sorry. It would have been fun though." Charlie said. That made me smile.
"There you go Love." He said, and I laughed. Abby walked in.

Dennis walked in behind her. Charlie stood up. "Leave them be." I whispered. "Hi." Abby said smiling. She went to the bedroom with him. Charlie looked so mad.
"He's not worth it." I said.
"I know." He said. He sat back down. We heard them giggling. "That girl makes the worse decisions." He said.
I nodded. "Let's go back to my place before Luke comes out." He said.
"Charlie!" I whispered loudly. "I'm with Chase anyway, that is probably why it never happens with us."
"Oh come on, love." He said. "Just this one time."
"I can't." I said.
"You will never know what it's like to be with a real man." He said. "You are missing out."
I started laughing when he said that.
"Charlie, don't be silly. Luke will be out in a minute anyway." I told him.
"So. He wont know where we went." Charlie said.
"No!" I said. We heard Abby start to laugh. I watched Charlie tense up.
"I hate that guy!" he said.
"I know, we all do." I told him.
"Well, I'm leaving. I can't be in the same place as him." Charlie said, standing up.
"I'll go with you." I told him. We left Luke a note, and walked over to their apartment.
"Okay, we've got five minutes tops." He said.
"Charlie, I am not doing it!" I said laughing.
"Please?" He asked.
"Why are you chosing me?" I asked.
"Because."
"Because why?" I asked.
"I bet I could teach you some things, love." He said.
"Charlie, I said no."
"I've never wanted anyone as bad as I want you." He told me.
"Why?" I asked.
"I don't know, I'm just so attracted to you. Especially after the other night." He said.
"Charlie, we were drunk." I told him.
"Yes, but we weren't drunk earlier today, now were we? I know you want to do this too. I can sense it. Just let go. Come on!" He begged, pulling me towards the room.
He pulled me onto the bed and started kissing me. He put his hand on the back of my neck and pulled me really close to him. I was use to kissing Chase and it was nothing like this. I felt like I didn't know what I was doing. I tried not to laugh. He started to unzip my pants and the front door opened again. "Hello?" Luke asked.
He walked over to us. "Charlie, what the fuck!" He shouted. Charlie jumped up. "What?" He asked. "We were just goofing around."
"I told you this was a bad idea!" I shouted. I felt so stupid.
"What about Chase, Robyn?" Luke asked.
"I love Chase!" I screamed. I left their apartment.
I started going back to my apartment, but I rememberd Abby was there with Dennis. I turned and started walking toward the exit of the complex. I walked to the empty bus stop and sat down on the bench to think. I looked up and saw Luke running after me.
"Robyn!" He shouted at me. I just sat there and let him walk over to me.
"I'm sorry. I'm usually the one that has everything together. I'm not used to not knowing what I'm doing or thinking." I told Luke. He sat down next to me.
"What was that all about?" He asked me. I couldn't look at him. I was embarassed.
"I made the mistake of telling Charlie I have only been with Chase. I don't know what I was thinking back there." I said.
"Whoa! Seriously? Only Chase?" Luke asked me.
"Yes." I told him.
"Wow. You know he has been with other people, right?" Luke asked me.
"Well no, but I just assumed." I said.
"Why Charlie?" Luke asked. I just looked at him, and got up and walked away.
"Robyn! Come back!" He shouted after me.
"NO!" I yelled. I ran to my apartment and slammed the door. Charlie was sitting on the couch. He stood up. "AHHH!" I shouted. I went to the bathroom and shut the door.
The bathroom shared a wall with the bedroom, and I could here Abby and Dennis in there. He had the most annoying laugh. I turned on the shower and let the water run.
I heard some shouting, so I opened the door to see what was going on. All I saw was Charlie storm out of the apartment. Luke was standing in the living room.
"What did you say to him?" I asked.
"I'm sorry. We just got into an argument." Luke said. Abby peeked her head out of the bedroom.
"Whats going on guys? Who is yelling?" She asked. She looked totally out of it.
"Nothing!" I shouted. I walked out of the apartment and walked to the gas station to get a snack and a drink. I was so frustrated and embarassed!
I grabbed a Coke and looked around for something to eat.
"Hey, big Social D fan?" I heard someone ask. I turned around and there was a guy standing behind me.
"Uh, yeah, I am?" I said.
"Sorry. I saw your t-shirt." He said. I looked down and realized I was wearing my black Social Distortion shirt.
"OH! I'm such an idiot!" I said laughing.
"I'm Mike. You might like my band. We have a similar sound." He said, handing me a flier.
"Thanks. You know, in a few months I might have a place for you to play." I told him.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah. If your good that is." I told him.
"Oh, we're the best!" He said, and I smiled.
"My friends and I are the new owners of The House of Blues. We are turning it into a concert hall." I told him.
"No shit! Thats awesome!" He said.
"Hey, do me a favor and spread the word. We'll be needing some bands to play and stuff evenutally. If you do that, I'll bring some friends and come see you, on-" I looked at the flier, "on Saturday." I said.
"Absolutely!" I shouted, shaking my hand.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"I'm Robyn." I told him.
